Do you have Bill Gray's or Tom Wahl's in Syracuse? They're Rochester chains and they are delicious.

Neither. I do think there is a Five Guys somewhere in Dewitt, though. And of course, there's the infamous Marshall Street Sliders--good burgers, but the place is always packed with obnoxious university students.

Naked burgers? Not sure what to make of that.

Better naked burgers than naked buns.

Say will you dream with me tonight?

Off to sleep, perchance to Dream.

But there is a wonder, will the Sleep come soon? Will the Dream come visit me tonight or will she flee before I get a chance to savor her, to remember her like she did to me so many times?

Yeah, the Dream is so fickle to me that she must be woman. Red-haired surely, unlike her dark-haired older sister Death.

this is awesome.

Who? What? Dream? Oh, yes, she is awesome when she comes... The true love of my life. At least until I meet Death and see for my own eyes if she is truly the woman worth dying for...

The Exchange

Blerg.

Blerg with you too.

We have an expression in Polish language "to tear/break off someone from something with a grenade (modern version)/with horses (older)". It might be used that "someone has to be teared/broke off with..." or that "someone couldn't be teared/broke off even with..."

That expression is good way to describe relation between me, computer and going to sleep.

Then the two of shall "blerg" together, two brothers bonded in the house of "blerg".

This night sucks.

And I spent the last hour or so exchanging FB posts with acquaintance and friend of friends who got divorced recently. And not on good terms. At least he had a chance to spend a few hours with daughter on her fifth birthday.

A shadow of headache sneaking on the edges of my head worries me a bit.

*sigh* A paracetamol pill and sleep. Now.

The Exchange

G'Night Drejk, sleep well buddy.

Ugh. Late night sleeplessness

Just waiting to hear that the wife's plane has arrived in Vegas. Probably won't be for a few more hours, so I'm not sleeping tonight.

How about you?

Meh. Wife worked late, we took a long late afternoon nap, so now I'm not really tired, but I need to get to bed. Tomorrow is a busy day.

Las Vegas will be a cool trip. I was surprised at what an interesting place it is. And I'm not really a big gambler. It's just a trip walking through those mega casinos

The Exchange

Yeah she's been pretty jazzed just to see it. I'm glad she's got the chance to do it, but I'm so used to having her here that I can't sleep.

Yeah, I know I'm a wus at times. :P

No I get that. I don't sleep well when My wife is MIA on a business trip.

Read through today's A-Z monster. It might cause drowsiness. :)

It being past midnight is causing drowsiness Taig.

I like this new monster. Giving it that rust ability is a good one to mess with the tanks of the party.

Ok. I think I can get to sleep. Night all

Pool, and copious amounts of beer.

Dante's 5th birthday party today was fun.

Hey BT, how's life?

And a Happy Birthday to Dante.

The grandkids are a hoot. We watched Morrigan the youngest at 6 months for her first overnight away from Mom. She was not a happy camper! She has very healthy and strong lungs. :) She's already crawling at 6 months. Pandora is almost 3, and it's funny what a princess she is since her Mom was not. Sam was proficient with an AK before she could drive. Dante loves TMNT which seems funny to me because I remember them from my youth and his folks also played with them when they were little.

The Exchange

Sounds fawesome. The TMNT seem to recur with every generation it seems. :)

LOL! It's all good as long as it isn't Power Rangers.

The Exchange

Augh damn I hated that show!

It inspired our little ones to behave very foolishly, and we had to ban it because of things like like, "Don't Power Ranger your sister!", "Don't Power Ranger off of the the roof!", and the classic "Don't Power Ranger the dog!!!".

The Exchange

I banned it just because it's crap. :P

The Exchange

Just how frakking long does it take to get to the frakking hotel!?

What's she up to in Vegas?

A trade show. She'll be back Wed.

Cool. I liked visiting Vegas, but Sam hated living there when she went to college.

The Exchange

TBH, I'm not a fan of her being there w/o me. But I'm an overprotective pit bull from time to time.

The main attractions like downtown and the strip are pretty safe. Other parts of town vary.

The Exchange

So I've heard, she's there with a few others from her company so I'm not too worried. Just don't like not being with driving distance of her, y'know.

Yup. It was very hard to let Sam go to college there when she was 17.

Today is the first day in weeks I've walked entirely without crutches. Granted, I didn't do much walking, but it was all crutch-free. So naturally, as I'm limping through the dark living room to turn on the light, I trip over the bundled pop-up tent, which has fallen off the pile waiting to go to storage. It was a complete surprise, so I took quite a hard fall, mostly on my good knee.

End result is... still not using crutches! In fact, the limp is now a bit more even. I'm immensely pleased that this knee is healing. The last time it blew out like this, it took a grand and three shots of Synvisc to fix. Now, with no insurance or money, I think time, NSAIDs, exercise, and glucosamine are going to do it for practically no cost. I'm so thrilled!

Ouch Treppa. Hope the healing speeds up a little for you darlin'. :/

Heard from the wife about 30 minutes ago, she's at the hotel and is supposed to call me back after she gets a bite to eat.
