I think April 7 might be earliest I have ever filed my federal return.
No, I had a refund this year. Not a big one, but it's better than owing.
I usually owe NY State because the withholding never seems to be enough. We'll see...
On the one hand, TN has no state tax, so I have the advantage of not having to pay that excess. I also don't live in the city limits so no city taxes.
On the other, my owings to the feds seem to have gone up. I usually set my automatic tax withdrawals to the highest bracket, so I'll get a decent return every year, but I ended up owing this year regardless. Likely due to overtime.
I was amused this year though that I only owed exactly $4 total, and I paid nearly that much again in addition thanks to the excess charges on making a debit card payment.

Didn't get to statting monsters over the weekend like I planned due to spending Friday working on my revamp of Hargulka, Saturday doing yardwork and helping Ebon put together a character concept for Council of Thieves, and Sunday busy with church stuff.
ELTN posting today/tonight, CoT tonight (beginning Sixfold Trial! have heard so much about the Logue+Pett theatre special), and should get to monsters tomorrow night. More songspawn and flying ants per request =)

Morning, all. What did I miss?
Well, Kirk took advantage of his wife's out-of-town business trip to once again indulge in one of his favorite hobbies - horticulture. Meanwhile, Max started a new job only to swiftly realize that he had actually been recruited by a top secret scientific organization bent on cornering the breakfast sandwich market. And Scott's attempts to sell Mike some steriod-enhanced....No, wait! That's my soap opera.

And back from session. No one died, no one get killed, we got to execute some 500 heretics and traitors and our Scum-gone-future-Rogue-Trader-captain just earned 200.000 thrones by negotiating with Adeptus Mechanicus. We were also asked by Space Marines to leave the system in 16 hours before they start fight with Chaos Marines apostle we discovered...
