Things you didn't know about Firefly I have to say though, that Outlaw Star had to have been more than a coincidence. Whedon saying he never heard of the show and it having that many plot points the same is just silly. Also I think it has more similarities than just the few pointed out on this page.

William Shakespeare stole all of his stories from Hollinshed's Chronicles and The Decameron. Shakespeare sucks!

Scarab Sages

New guy? Braiiinnnnssss....?

Scarab Sages

Also, good morning to one and all!

Scarab Sages

Thirdly, to answer new brainnnsss question from my own perspective, I see the RPGS Superstar thing as something that might be interesting to do if I had the inclination. Not to mention I don't consider myself much of a talent when it comes to that sort of thing.

I'm an engineer. Gaming, for me, is a hobby. One that I thoroughly enjoy, but don't think I'll ever make money at. Not so with folks like Allen, Taig, CH - they're good at it (and without being pretentious douchebags!).

Scarab Sages

Please note: if I missed naming any other talented FAWTLY Folk in he preceding, it's only because I haven't had my morning braaiiiiinnnnssss yet.

Scarab Sages

In addition, not to say all RPG writer types are pretentious d-bags, but I think we all know at least one.

waits for Sebastian to pop in and say he isn't an RPG writer

Some of you may notice that I brag about my daughter's drumming skills every now and then. Here's a sample -

Buddy Rich's Channel One Suite

The big solo is about the 8 minute mark, but she has mini solos throughout the song. Enjoy!

Woah, she's awesome! And if anybody doubts that, I challenge them to spend a few minutes trying to play a drum set. It ain't easy. Congrats to her on a great performance.

She is very good. Treppa drums aren't hard to play, says the guy who has been playing for 25+ years. ;)

I am sitting with Jude well he watches Winnie the Pooh. This morning he is having fun experimenting with the remote control.

Scarab Sages

Finally got around to watching that RPG Superstar Nazi video.

Kevin, normally I enjoy a nice, cold Dr. Pepper in the morning, but not when it get's snorted out through my nose from the laughter.

Damn you, sir! Damn you! Consider your house marked for the invevitable zombiepocalypse.

Ok, Monkey Man... when you can post something 'creepy' or horror themed that disturbs me, you have accomplished something. Congratulations.

Liberty's Edge

Thanks for all the kind words guys - it went over about a hundred times better than I expected it to. I guess the grapes were just sour enough to squash into vintage comedy!

Busy day today, with me working on the Mask of Death and my wife painting minis and trying her hand at sculpting. Pretty awesome schedule!

The Exchange

Disturbs me as well, and yet I clicked on the link knowing full well what I would see. What doth that say about me?

The Exchange

Monkey, that was fawesome!

Now I'm off to try and get the kids to clean their rooms. :/

In the last days of my working at the gas station, Marlboros were up to around $10.50, and we had the cheapest cigarettes in town.
O_o
Welcome to New York! Now, with higher cigarette taxes, gas taxes, and more laws on the books than any other state in the union!

LONG MAY SHE...uh...YORK!!!!!

Mmmmmm.....leftover pork tenderloin.

omnomnom!

REALLY????????

Any suggestions?

For some reason, doing Dawk or Doq didn't appeal. I should just pay Gary to get rid of the other guy.

Yeah there should be a time limit on account names. I originally just wanted 'Patrick' but some fool beat me to the punch, then bailed on posting in 2006 =/

Can anyone explain Pinterest to me?

The Exchange

Pinterest is a Virtual Pinboard.

Pinterest lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes.

Best of all, you can browse pinboards created by other people. Browsing pinboards is a fun way to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests. To get started, request an invite.

from Pintrest I think it is a little weird.

Looks like a slightly more mature version of the 4Chan picture posting boards really. I just linked because that was the firast non-FB link I could find, and I was on my iPhone at that point.

No criticism implied, just try to keep up with understand the world.

It lets you pin websites, sort of like managing your favorite but from a website. You log in from any computer and have your favorites all handy from one spot.

None taken. That link was actually the first time I had ever seen it, so I didn't want to give the impression I was an expert in it.

Demmit! In my day, we had SCRAPBOOKS!

Hey where's my pizza? Oh, sorry, wrong papa ...

You are absolutely right, going from a pack or more to just a couple is a great success. You've got the right attitude.I think your going to make it. Keep it up!

Crap! Gaming got cancelled tonight. :(
