I was planning to bring my own, personal square-grid mat for drawing out my maps. Is this necessary, or will they have mats people can borrow?

Bring your own materials. PaizoCon hasn't gotten to the point where they have a "library" where you can borrow stuff. :)

I'm looking forward to playing your adventure.

When I'm playing an adventure, I really only have one criterion: Did I have fun?

If I don't, then I will rip off your rotting face, Mr. Zombie. After all, I believe in direct criticism. :P

I bought banquet tickets, so I will be there as well. I realize it's sold out, but if you don't have tickets and get the opportunity to score tickets, I recommend you do so. Paizo saves their biggest spoiler-filled previews for the banquet.

I did not buy banquet tickets, which is good because I think there is an Open Design patrons dinner going on at the same time.

Hmmm, they usually have that on a different day than the banquet. I'd really like to go to the Open Design dinner.

I may be remembering wrong.

Dammitall, I forgot my card decks fo today's adventure, and I'm traveling by bus! Gotta figure something out. Mebbe take the bus back home quick over lunch? I don't think I am gonna have a choice. Worst par of all is that I can't blame whedon for this one - its all me.
On the bright side, my typing program for my phone updated, an I notice a definite improvement.

The crazy crazy lady a few cubicles down is belting out shitty 80s music. That's even worse than yogurt cups.

Give her a Prefab Sprout album. I'd suggest Steve McQueen.

The actual song was even worse:

She's a maniac, maniac for sure

Scrape... scrape... scrape...

And she's dancing like she's never danced before

Scrape... scrape... scrape...

As long as she's not changing the lyrics to fit her situation:

It's just another manic Thursday
I wish it was Saturday
Because that's my beach day
etc.

I am going to the banquet!

How does Thursday night look for people? That's when we had the meet and greet at the crab restaurant last year - it seems like a good time!

Honestly, us FAWTLs last year spent an inordinate amount of time hanging out in the bar. Heh. :)

Yes we did. :)

I plan to bring Kill Doctor Lucky, Zombie Dice, and Cthulhu Dice to PaizoCon for bar gaming.

For those FAWTLy PaizoCon attendees - I hope to run some of you through my very own, self-written adventure: The Crypt of Illusions. I've still got some writing to do on it, and gotta finish planning out and providing stats for the encounters, but it should be ready enough. Hopefully, it'll be good for 4 to 6 players.

And I'm even kind of/sort of planning two versions - one a smaller version of the dungeon, in case we run short on time.

All I ask, for those who develop rpg stuff more than me (TAIG!!!) - be gentle with any criticisms. Mine is a sensitive soul.

If Taig is playing a halfling, stick with the smaller version.

There'll be a near TPK sooner than you anticipated, which you thank him for as it'll give you time to drink more beer.

I wasn't thankful.

Natural disasters are less damaging than that damn halfling. I think it was closer to the event that killed off all the dinos.

Oh no! It's not that easy! Anyone who wants to participate will have to entertain me by battling each other to the death. We'll empty the hotel pool of water and use that as an arena.

Anyone who's not a FAWTLY, but wants to take their chances in the death matches, must do so with both hands tied to their ankles.

Well, the showdown between Steve and Gregg reached a surprising conclusion, when both men were caught off-guard by an attack from a rabid mongoose which had escaped from an STD research facility. Meanwhile, Max and Jess continued their argument over the moral implications of outlawing yogurt. And, across town, Mike's plan to produce a genetically-enhanced badger capable of ripping the face off.....No, wait! That's my soap opera!

Then we'll commandeer a room at the Paizo Headquarters. Maybe I can score some free stuff by amusing them with more gladiatorial blood sports.

I'll have to double-check, but I think I get in pretty early, which means more time to find the Paizo offices and conduct a one-zombie siege. How do you think they'd react if I did a zombie walk through the front door and started going brainnnnnssssss....?

Good to know. I'll bring my mat, some markers, and minis.

I'll have most of the adventure on my netbook, but will likely also print the whole thing out just to make it easier on me. I gotta say - when statting up the NPCs/monsters, Herolab was my friend!

Okay, so I'm wanting to (finally) get around to posting my homebrew setting here. I just have no idea how to start, and I can't find anyone else's posts of an actual setting to steal format/layout/etc. from. Any recommendations, FAWTLy folk?

Aagh. Trying to work out my fall class schedule. I am either going to be taking evening classes or somehow I have to find a before and after school care for the kidlet on Fridays....so probably evening classes.:/
and next semester will likely be worse since there are less and less choices the more advanced the classes get.

I recommend a Google Site, instead of directly posting it here.
