Let's be honest, clothing wouldn't have protected me from either of those temperatures.

Sovereign Court

It's going to be nice and cool in Seattle!

Silver Crusade

Speaking of hot - booked my flight to Florida. *wimpers*

Why would you want to go to Florida?

The Exchange

Damn I am having to hide way too damned many threads, just to keep myself from being sucked into an ignorant discussion or reading it even. I may bow out for a while. Not like I am posting much anymore anyway.

Gooooooood Morrrrrrrrrrrning FAWLTIES :-)

Game night tonight yay!

I will say hello to Mothy and tell him he needs to post...

We are so close to finishing our two year CotCT/homebrew campaign I think maybe 2-3 sessions to go.

I have to say the Witch from 3-14th level has been by far one of the most fun, flavourful, versatile, and make the GM work harder characters I have ever played.

It will be the first time we have ever finished a campaign.

Ran a pickup game of Rogue Trader the other week - lots of fun for those that get the 40k universe.... Not so much for those looking for a happy shiny Animae/Star Trek/Star Wars universe.

"We dont make friends with the space elves"?

"Nah you put a bullet in the filthy Xeno's head before he can corrupt you and drag your screaming soul into the warp"

"We captured the pirates sir" - "excellent send the fittest to be turned into servitors and rest to the food reclamators"

"wah what arent we the good guys?"

"Are you saying we arent good... that the Emperor isn't good... I think you may need a counselling session with an Inquisitor".

~laughter~ That sounds like a fun game, T8D. If I had the money, then I would try to play Rogue Trader.

Pass along good wishes to Mothy - hope he, mrs. moth, and the larvae are well.

Ask my dad, he's the one who lives there.

Actually, I'm kind of excited about it. It is the first time my siblings and I are all going to be in the same place at the same time since my brother's wedding in 2006. We have a week booked in a beach house in celebration of my dad's 60th (earlier this year).

That's awesome. We only get together for funerals anymore. :(

Scarab Sages

All my brothers have not been in the same location at one time for over 12 years. Maybe even 13 years, I forget.

That way, in case of [insert your calamity of choice here]pocalypse, we won't all go out at once.

If I don't, then I will rip off your rotting face, Mr. Zombie. After all, I believe in direct criticism. :P

If you guys don't have fun, I'll rip my own face off.
I want to play!

Then I hope your finishing move is lethal, yet entertaining.

We've got it covered. What could possibly go wrong on the Gulf Coast in late summer?

Did you get a new gun for the occasion, or are you going to stick to hand to hand combat when the brawl breaks out?

What, is my family the only ones that do that?

The Exchange

Treppa pass along our well wishes to the Puffin will you.

CJ, will do. Thanks!

Bummer I had a long reply for Treppa an Sharoth and the site went down.

Treppa - will do

Sharoth - lots of fun.

Someone said that the Gungans are coming. Well, I really hate to disapoint you, but I had Gungan stew for dinner. It was tasty too. So, NO, they are not coming.

They're coming, you know.

The thought of my brother fighting anybody is hilarious to me.

Happy Midsummer FAWTLies!

good morning FaWtL

Good morning, aeglos!

I've figured out why I'm craving RP so much - no music over the summer. Good RP feels a lot like ensemble music. There's a joy when things click and players are on the same wavelength.

Now, to compose....

Tonight's the first Rise of the Runelord game session we have had in 3 months. It's great to be back in the saddle again. Also, beginning in July, I'll be able to finish the AP out using the Anniversary Edition. I'm looking forward to that.

Whoo!

Liberty's Edge

Just finished reading through Skull & Shackles 3 last night. Best part of the book:

Quote:
If the players have decided not to race ...

That had me laughing for a good fifteen minutes. I couldn't help it.

"So, there's this race, and if you win, you get your own personal island."
"Y'know, we (as a group) talked it over, and we don't feel our pirate adventurers really WANT their own island. I think we'll pass."

BWAH-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

"Well, lads, we'll soon have an island of our own, yarrr!"

"Nay, 'tis no good. I be thinkin' on this, Cap'n. We be too damned greedy. 'Tis greed that causes sufferin'."

"Ye've been hittin' the grog again, Pegleg!"

"Nay, listen ta' me, mates! We've been strivin' ta get things, but it be never enough. Maybe 'tis spiritual things we be needin', not more gold nor ships nor an island! This greed, it be leadin' us ta suffer. We be needin' ta contemplate ourselves and extinguish this greed like a fire aboard our ship! Now, I be thinkin' there are eight courses ta take on our chart ta' true happiness, that I be callin' nirvana..."

"But Pegleg, we be pirates!"

"Cap'n, we want ta' hear him out. Sit ye under this bodhi mast, Pegleg, and be tellin' us more."

Hmmm, there doesn't seem to be any open time in that schedule for The Crypt of Illusions. Too bad. I was looking forward to seeing you kick ass in the death matches.

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Friday! I hope everyone has a good day today!

Scarab Sages

And just remember, I love you guys.

Scarab Sages

Except Sebastian, since I know he's allergic.

Scarab Sages

I almost gave into temptation and had a Dr. Pepper this morning instead of coffee. Almost.

Scarab Sages

Had to go back through my Outlook calendar today and clear out a bunch of large attachments (cue Urizen). Damn crap was causing my email to go over the size limit. I reduced the size by about 20 MB just by cutting the attachments.
