we are just back from eating sushi, hmmm sushi
The dad one of my really good friend's of over 22 years is in the hospital and not doing too well. He had quadrupal bypass surgery, but is having trouble breathing due to one of his lungs being almost totally black due to smoking and other complications. If you all are the praying type, he sure could use a few prayers.

Good things. I know they'll need me now. A lot. Most of the employees/bosses like me much better than my soon-to-leave boss. (Bad part of that is the CFO likes her to be the heavy on things.) I actually know the job very well. I just don't like playing in a litter box; secrets as opposed to confidential, not having the support of the CFO, yada yada.

We had a fun lunch with Mothman and family on Sunday... Mrs 8D wasn't too happy with her blue cheese and tomato soup it didn't taste as nice as she expected it to. But the roast lamb and veggies as well as Mrs Mothmans chocolate cake more than made up for it.

The lamb roast and potatoes were fantastic, not to mention Mrs 8D's dessert, that key lime pie (is that right?) was fantastic - please thank her for us again. It was nice to get out.
