Name dropping time!
One of the classes I'm taking involves bringing in three guest professors, usually university alumni, to teach a short course for five weeks each. Today, I walked into class and found out that the latest guest professor is STEVE ELLIS. A.K.A. the Libris Mortis guy.
Later on, I was hanging out playing Magic with my good friend J. Edwin Stevens, and he asked me if I wanted to go out for dinner with a friend of his who was in town. I said yes, and as we walked into the diner, I discovered that the friend in question was... Steve Ellis.
So yeah. Dinner with Steve Ellis and J. Edwin Stevens, plus class with Steve Ellis for five weeks. Things have gotten a little better.

Excellent!
Didn't recognise the name, but I know some of Steve Ellis' art from his website. That picture of Lord Soth (was it for a Dragon mag cover?) is pure awesome, one of my favourite illustrations of the death knight.

There's one of those in Ft Worth between the Stockyards and Billy Bob's. I LOVE COOPER'S!Since you will only be a couple hours away now, I expect you will be making the trip to OwlCon next year.
Note how that wasn't a question.
;-)
I was really hoping the job would mean I would get to go to NTXRPGCON for the first time. And...it's during summer school. :/

- local residents' registration office
- passport office
- vehicle registration office
- changing trustee savings bank from one local branch to another
That's very efficient.
Americans like to put that stuff off as long as possible - as in, years. My identification is about three addresses old...
