High end optimization is a chore man.

Just to confirm, a +28 with reroll to your worst save is good at 20th, right?

You can do better.

just kidding; I actually have no idea.

Since the monster creation guidelines say 27 is the target for primary save DCs, I think you're good.

Awesome. This barbarian is plugging along nicely. Just have to finish gearing him. And the mount.

....it hurts, mommy.

I once Dmed to level 25, the game was 3 years old, and I decided to end it. I had a hard time running things after level 20 with the crappy epic level handbook.

Man, I remember this one boss I statted up. Level 25 gestalt across three classes with outsider hd on top of it. He was meant for a party of like, 8-10 level 20 characters.

I would love to see what paizo would do with a mythic level handbook. I always loved the idea of playing level 20+, but the epic level handbook was just soo awful.

You could do so with 1st edition rules of the worlds previously most popular table top roleplaying game. As well as Rolemaster 2nd edition.

Shadow Lodge

I wish I could have another go at 20+. I'd like to put what I've learned since then to use.

You and your hate.

I think Harry Potter is great. Not because it’s great literature (though I think they were entertaining and well told stories), but because they appear to have (almost) single handedly got (or kept) a whole generation of kids reading and into fantasy. Good work.

Anyway, hope that everyone is doing well.

It’s Monday morning here for me, our home internet was down since Saturday night (still down in fact – the service provider has ‘no ETA’ on when it will be back up and running), so I’ve spent the morning at work catching up on all the internet related things (checking email, paying bills, doing ebay stuff, checking out songs and of course catching up on Paizo) that I was meant to do yesterday.

Damn, I wish I lived in NC!

In New York, you have to take a written exam and then a 40-minute practical test. If you miss five questions on the written or one demo on the practical, you fail. And there's a ten-month waiting period between when you get your learner's permit and your full license (it was only six months when I got my license). All that plus the $150.00 fee are why I didn't have my license until I was 21.

Liberty's Edge

You’ll be glad you’re not trying to get your driver’s license in Australia. These are the current steps (as I understand) in my state:

To get your learner driver permit you need to pass a written test and pay a fee.

After holding your learners permit for a minimum of 12 months and logging 120 hours of supervised driving practice, you can take the test for your P1 provisional driver’s license. You need to pass a road driving test to get your P1 license. P1 license holders are restricted to a maximum speed limit, can’t drink any alcohol and drive, and I think are restricted to the number of passengers they can have in the car.

After having your P1 license for 12 months you can take a driving simulation test to get your P2 provisional license. P2 license holders can have a 0 blood alcohol limit and I think have other limits.

After holding your P2 license for 2 years you can take another written and driving simulation test to get your full drivers license.

There are of course fees to pay at each stage.

This all applies to people under the age of 25. I think if you are over 25 you can skip some of the steps or time limits. Luckily I got my license 15 odd years ago when the whole process was quicker, simpler and cheaper.

390 posts over a four-day period. Yeeeash!

My older sister and niece arrived Thursday on the same day I brought my new computer home. Hooked it up and it runs perfectly.

My Brother's memorial was Friday evening and he was eulogized by an ordained minister. It was a sad and sober occasion, but in the end, my brother earned it. His obituary made the Review Journal. My second time at publication.

Later we hit Outback steakhouse and laughed and cried and ate in a wake befitting his memory.

Did I say I have a new computer. Yup, 1 TB hard drive and its capable of running anything currently on the market. It put me back $1.4 Grand but it was well worth it. Finally put my Copy of Fallout New Vegas in it. Monday it heads back to the shop for an additional hard drive for Fallout 3. yes, I'm a Fallout junkie.

I hit NeonCon Saturday. No gaming, but it was small and quaint. I chated with Frog God Games and found a new RPG that has caught my eye: Cthulhutech with Fear the Void second on the list. I need to head over the Drivethru RPG to learn more.

Vacation officially ends tonight then it's a 7 night grind. I hope everyone had a good relaxing weekend.

I have not only used it for troll threads, but also just to unclutter from those threads I will never ever post in. A certain poster always posts what is sure to be trolling but it is rather a silly troll, and easier just to ignore than to ask them what they are smoking.

I haven't had one at all. Taking Driver's Ed in Florida met that requirement when I first got my license, and every other time I've just taken a written test.

My son had to take a driving test for his license, but it wasn't too bad.
