Need to get out and do something. Starting to think Liara from Mass Effect is my girlfriend in real life. Help.

Well okay but not until you put on some clothes, or at least a sock

I mean, "Daggum, it's been, like, maybe a week (or two?) since I've played a computer game." I actively don't know how long anymore.
Also, Summer with the family is crazy awesome, but busy. :D

Thunderstorm. With a bit of rain that can turn into more rain later.
We'll see what kind of weather we'll get in the morning.
Lazy day. Tomorrow more work at cleaning house. *sigh*

Now that you mention it...
Of course thunderstorm and intense rain made be unable to fall asleep at the right time, so I slept only a meager few hours... Three? Four and a half maybe...

The temperature is somewhat below hellishly hot as a thunderstorm has come in to deal with this hideous humidity. [/strike]

I need calm brain more than anything else. You can cast calm digestive system on my sick dog.
It has not been a good night. Did you know birds start singing around 4 a.m., around the same time cats begin proclaiming love and/or war?

Fleet Card Network Customer: Test with the latest cards we provided.
Me: I get a failure.
Fleet Card Network Customer: That's because you're using the wrong subaccount. Change it to this.
Me: {Um, what, I'm using the card you provided}. Er, OK. Now I get a new failure.
Fleet Card Network Customer: That's because you're using the wrong expiration date.
Me: {Bangs head not so gently on desk}

At the Zoo, first Monday of Summer, it's rainy so no one is here, of course having lived in Seattle a bit of rain if anything only enhances the experience :-)

Yes, I do. There's a grove, or spinney or whatever opposite my bedroom window which is full of... crows? rooks? that like to go WAAK WAAK WAAK WAAK! WAAAK! WAAAK WAAK!, alternating with smaller ones (I assume) that just cheep. A lot. When I'm thinking very hard about Red Sonja important things and do not wish to be disturbed.

Then they covered over the landfill and crows took over.
Given the choice I will choose crows. 100% of the time. All the time. At least they have brains in their heads. Watching them play is awesome. And they only caw for maybe 20 minutes in the morning, then shut up for a while. I think it's the, "Hey, all of you! Get back to bed! It's early!" caw...

An owl lived in the tree right outside my bedroom window at another house. He howled all night. All. Night. Long.
All night long, yeah.
All night long.

Did it take care of other owls' chicks?
Because then it would be an all-night hootin' nanny.
OK. OK. I'm leaving.

I had an owl do a get-out-this-is-my-turf swoop over me once. It was probably only a common as muck barnowl, but that close it felt like getting dive bombed by a golden eagle.

Woke up thirty minutes too early... After not being able to fall asleep fast enough.
And just a moment ago, I realized that we made an appointment with a friend's uncle who is helping us drive things to thrashyard too early because the facility we will be taking things to is opened at 10 o'clock, not 9 o'clock but it is too late to change that...
