You'd know the answer already if you were on Facebook.

I'd also know the answer if I was in Texas.

I'd REALLY know the answer if I was naked in Texas.

Sorry. I forget that not everybody knows what paczki are. They're kind of a big deal in Michigan, so I take that for granted. They are so ridiculously good. And there is a bakery near here that is run by a Polish family (as in emigrated from Poland, not of Polish descent) that makes the best paczki I've ever had. Except now I can't haz. ;;

KREPPEL !!!

or as the people of Aberlin call them: Pfannkuchen the north Germans call them Berliner and the Bavarians Krapfen

their time ends tommorow at Aschermittwoch, they are only made during Karneval/Fasching/Fasnacht/Fasset, and that time of the year (the 5th season) will start again at 11/11 at 11:11

In the realm of the crappy, John and I may have to start looking for a new place. It looks like the owner of the house we rent is planning to sell later this year. There is no chance of us finding a place like the one we have for what we pay. We have a sweet deal on this place.

I really don't want to move. It will be the 6th time in 4 years for me.

Any chance he'll let you buy it and finance it himself?

Probably not. It is on a large lot relative to the neighborhood, so it's likely to be out of our price range.

And to Freehold, I'm not sure when we will have to be out. They made it sound like it could be the end of the year, but it may be sooner.

Augh! There are no German, Bavarian, or Polish bakeries anywhere near me. SW FL is pretty much a culinary wasteland.

Except that you let all the hidden threads out of their cages.

Is anyone else having trouble with the Paizo site tonight? Because it's being slower than maple syrup in March right now, on both Firefox and Safari, at least for me. I thought it was the weather, but I can navigate everywhere else just fine.

Yep, it's part of the update. They're working on getting all the bugs back in their cages, but it might be a bit....

Also welcome back

I haven't noticed any trouble, but that's because I've been a wee bit busy...

Anyone want to take midterms in my place? I pay in coffee and chocolate.

Which subjects? I don't accept chocolate as payment (though it may make me try harder), and coffee is a punishment.

Ah. That explains things. Crazy's company is still swatting the creepy-crawlies from the last release, and it's driving everyone nuts, even - or maybe especially - the spouses, partners, kids, etc.

And thanks! 'Twas the season for fun and frolic in the high Himalayas [/fangy grin].

Yeah, can't help you there.

I'd still like some chocolate, though.

Yeah my main frustration is that every time the forum is updated, the Ignore Script breaks. (Which makes sense, it's a javascript add-on, and now all the formatting is different, so things don't line up like they used to.)

I tend to be very quiet on the forums for a bit between updates, because the alternative is getting into fights with people I normally don't ever even see.

In theory, that's what was on my truck windshield yesterday morning. However, I don't count it as real ice, since it took zero real effort to remove. However, someone did point out to me that the trees outside looked a bit frosty.

Otherwise, good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Wednesday!

Maybe. We'll see. There's a big meeting today, and the lead from our client is on vacation, so his construction manager is left to run the meeting. The same construction manager to whom I pointed out the other day that his construction people were likely doing something wrong.

Should be fun.

Baby girl went down easy last night. This allowed me to watch both my DVR'd Agents of Shield and Supernatural! Afterwards, whilst channel surfing, I caught the last half-hour or so of Scanners! Woot!!!!

I think, if Freehold were a super villian, and I his noble, heroic opponent, we'd be Dr. Winter and Captain Spring.
