My main alias caught up a bit to the rest while I was on a hiatus from play by posts, but now that I'm back into it my other personalities are starting to pull ahead again. (a little more than 6,000 with this alias, 14,000 and some total)

So my wife came home to find my oldest on my laptop, which is in my room, looking at "stuff." I am wondering if this is the first time and if he thinks I would not notice "stuff" showing up on my history. Not that I look at the history often but still. Time for passwords methinks.
Define "stuff."

Naw, it's the classic "Engineer overestimates the time to look like the hero when he's done in 1/10th the quoted time." Paizo will only be offline for 30 minutes or so.Worst case scenario: Things will be up and running by PaizoCon.
Squeeze in a nooner if you have a couple minutes to spare.

Good luck! I'm sure it will go fine.

Leafy. Nov. 11? Is that it?
If somehow that turned up nothing, maybe try looking through all your notifications? Try control F "group".

4/9/11, 6am Pacific Time -
The Paizo mastermind gains sentience and orchestrates a day long shutdown of the site, which it spends infiltrating lesser servers across the globe.
This is Day One of the Paizocalypse.
Did you watch all the Terminator stuff on Syfy last night;)

Facebook has its plusses. Come on over to Facebook chat and we can talk about them. ~wicked, evil, toothy grin~

Doomed, I say. Doomed. Seppuku time.
Pshaw! I was attempting to convince the others so they fall for the ruse so I can send ninjas to infiltrate and collect those hoards.

I would, but I am too busy watching Gunslinger Girl. First season cost me ten bucks! Take that Zuckerberg!

How is Gunslinger Girl anyway? Netflix has it on instant view and I might check it out after I am done watching the subtitled Fullmetal alchemist - Brotherhood.

Hm, Its actually missing *&%, more of a phrase then an actual word.
Yea I don't know what I'm gonna do about this chick. There is a ton of work to do around a bookstore and she is equating it to factory work. :/
I'm trying to figure out if I should take the high road when I leave or if I have a few choice words...

So, our "after-hours" beer/XBox activity starts at 3:30. I brought Zombie Dice and Kill Doctor Lucky to make sure they know I'm a geek (but not too much of one...yet). :)
The new Paizo kill Doctor Lucky or the old Cheapass one?

This whole government shutdown train wreck we're headed for in the U.S. is stressing me out to the point of constant physical nausea. I love my work, and I'm committed to the mission of my agency, and while it's not an emergency, 'life-or-death' kind of service, I think it's important. I have deadlines that won't shift just because the government shuts down. I'd work on them on my own time, even without getting paid, because I think they're important, but it will be illegal for me to do any work on those projects during a government shutdown. But the deadlines won't shift, and... and... and...
ARRRRRRrrgh!
I hope Congress gets its act together before this all becomes a disaster, but I'm not really hopeful about that.
And now, back to cram in as much work as I can before everything shuts down and I'm not allowed to do anything.

Think of it as my biggest *click* so far.
That makes me think of the title of a one act play by Christopher Durang: The Hardy Boys and the Mystery of Where Babies Come From.

I love zombie dice.
Sounds like a cool place to work. I'm glad the move seems to be going well for you!
So far, so good. I felt good about this place--I really had to since I was going to be even more separated from my family for the short term.
@Justin--it's the brand new one that Paizo rereleased. I gave my old Paizo copy to my son's friend, because he absolutely loved the game.

Take the high road, but definitely take advantage of an opportunity to provide feedback to the manager. >/
