Make yourself at home.
The couches are made out of fluffy white clouds, and there's lots of space =)
If I don't remember wrongly the rules were:
No politics
No religion
No sports(unless its crazy Euro sports that no one knows about)There may be a few more...like No maths, No Michael Bay.. No Harry Potter, but those are minor infractions that will just get Freehold turning his nose up and not a visit from Fritzy, with his flaming bike artillery
Mind you we have some pretty good mathematical minds here...so even if I don't like it, maths is not a crime.
Actually I noticed you ran a ROTR AP for BigNorseWolf. How well do you now him? Heh...yep that's the gossipy cat talking.
I'm the resident lawful kitty.
Vidmaster7 - you know I have no sense no humor.
I know the wolf only from online. In real life we're a continent away. The group is hilarious. He and Nefreet might sometimes tear eachothers proverbial hair out over rules arguments, but they can roleplay with the best of them, and together its like listening to a long married couple ;)

BNW is a person I'm keeping an eye on. I do admire his easy way with animals, which can be seen everytime fluffy critters run away before I can take their pics. I didn't realize he was that snarky as well until I read ROTR discussion. I played ROTR till book 3 and group disbanded but mostly I was trying to see if the reason Nefreet and him get into rule arguments because one is lawful, and one isn't.

Probably best not to run as a nekkid person, though.
Yes it is an offence under section 27A of the Miscellaneous Offences (Public Order and Nuisance) Act (MOPONA).
The section prescribes that:
any person who appears nude in a public place; or
in a private place and is exposed to public view is criminally liable.

Unfortunately it isn't. I was just being punny. But there was quite some active campaigning when Newater just came in, like ministers were drinking Newater at national events etc.

The reason Carl Hiaasen is one of my favorite authors is that the bizarre characters and twisted plots truly are believable in the context of Florida and "Florida Man".

You don't even need to be in the hobby for long. I think I've only been around for about 7 years or so and my adherence to RAW is legendary, and so are my rants on why everyone should stick to RAW. And yes, Woran, Mort put out the societal compact for this thread quite completely. We sometimes push our own boundaries on acceptable subject matter, but we self-police pretty well. If you feel the need to go off on a rant of some kind, just say so, and do it in a spoiler if it's political/religious/sports in nature. As long as it doesn't become a huge discussion Fritzy will likely be patient (I haven't seen an actual argument on this thread, and here's to hoping I never will). If Fritzy appears, it's time for all involved to move on.

And LM has me in the mood for some old Chicago now. Like Chicago II and III.
The first half of the show was Chicago II, end to end.
"Make Me Smile" (which is one of my top five favorite rock songs ever) was smokin'. Also, *the best* rendition I've ever heard of "25 or 6 to 4".Also I now have a Foxy Grandpa crush on Jimmy Pankow.
But having to sit through REO Speedwagon first was kinda like going to see "Coco" in the cinema and being treated to "Olaf's Frozen Adventure" beforehand.

REO has not aged well, particularly Kevin Cronin. I've never liked the way he sings anything with an 'r' in it, particularly any word ending in 'er', and he's only gotten worse about it the older he gets. I mean, yes, if you guys still have the desire to tour the country and perform at your age, more power to you, but at some point you need to realize you just don't have it anymore.
Chicago, by contrast, has actually only gotten better during their live shows. And playing all of Chicago II just makes me all kinds of happy.

Enjoying a carnal pursuit doesn't absolve the rest of the state, in my opinion.

Speaking of political, I had an entertaining chaperoning moment last week:
We were chaperoning the middle school choir, which meant getting four choirs (Cobra Choir, Choir Black, Choir Gold, and Chamber Choir) organized and keeping them cycling through their sets. So my job was to be in the back room and make sure each choir got to the ready room in time.
Four girls in formals (so either Choir Black or Choir Gold) were sitting there chatting, and it was time for Gold to go on, so I walked up and asked, "You're all Black, right?"
They didn't even look up as they nodded and said, "Yeah."
Suddenly, the one black girl in the quartet got the most wonderful, wicked grin on her face and said, "I can't believe you are SO racist!"
The other girls took the cue and started in with, "Man, Chaperone Joe! I can't believe you pulled that!"
The fact that they were comfortable joking around with me on such a touchy subject made me even happier with the place I live.

LOL. Or there's, "Those who are obsessive-compulsive and follow a daily schedule."
I kid you not. Here is my template work day:
06:30-07:00: E-mail, schedule, etc.
07:00-07:30: Breakfast, etc.
07:30-08:00:
08:00-08:30: Foyer
08:30-09:00: Top
09:00-09:30: LR
09:30-10:00: Wall
10:00-10:30: DR
10:30-11:00: Standing
11:00-11:30: BR
11:30-12:00: Lunch; Walk
12:00-12:30: ''; 1 back yard; 1 kitchen; 1 studio
12:30-13:00: Kids Rooms/Bathroom
13:00-13:30: Sitting; Strength
13:30-14:00: Punches
14:00-14:30: Kitchen
14:30-15:00: Kicks
15:00-15:30: Fold laundry
15:30-16:00: Animals
So every half hour I spend 20-25 minutes working, and 5-10 minutes doing housework/physical activity.
So when I hit "kitchen" (2:00 pm every day), I load all the dishwasher-safe dishes into the dishwasher and hand wash the rest. Once the dishwasher is full (once per 2-3 days) I run it.
So I neither wash them immediately, nor wait 'til I'm out.
