congratulations!!!

Ahm, they are going to get married. I don't think that naked congratulations to Aeglos are appropriate Jess :P

Unless...

Bachelor party?

What can I say, I guess I got too excited!

'Too excited' is never a bad thing.

Occasionally embarrassing,... but never bad! :)

we are watching a documentary about northern Finland *waves at Icy*

did you know that the city Oulu has a "screaming man choir" that screams European Union laws as songtexts?

the sister of a good friend is married to a finnish man by the way

wohoo

Heheh,... So you've been 'Certified Marriageable'?

Or is that just 'Certifiable'? :)

EDIT- Also, 'WOOHOO' +1

the first one, we are officially observed and Registered as unmarried and thereforE fit to marry :-)

and thank you all, guys :-)

Cheers, Aeglos! May you have an exceedingly happy life as a couple.

Woohoo! Done with two classes now. And I did better in C++ than I thought! Yay!
And once more many thank yous to Jess for tutoring help. :)

Now just the one awful class left. And how I do on the final really determines my final grade since it's quite swingy as is. If I get a 60, I get out of the class with a C+. If I get a 70, I get a B-. If a miracle happened and I did really well I could even get an A-. But that really would take a miracle. Still, I am happy. And tired. Stayed up most of the night writing my final program. But I should at least be done with the all-nighters now. :)

Also, congrats to aeglos and sabine for being registered to be married. :)

Holy crap, if I am reading this schedule right, I have scored my first Christmas Eve off since I started working retail.

I'm debating Superstar. On the one hand, I've got a few ideas for some of the rounds. On the other, I have my Praxis this coming week and no ideas for others.

Greetings, all! Grats Aeglos!

Year end is kicking my butt. Sorry for the absence. Branches crossed that things settle down.

Scint, ENTER!!! No excuses! Nothing to lose!

But I have to study poetic meters and a bunch of writers I've never bothered to look at...

If it didn't start with "create an item" I'd consider participating. But creating items is one of the things I'm just really not good at unless I happen to just stumble onto an inspirational idea.

It's less "I don't think this is any good", more "aaaaaaaugh I can't think of anything".

Work today was at -19° Celsius (-2° Fahrenheit). Getting a bit too nippy for my taste now.

Happy birthday to all the FAWTL posters celebrating one this week. Also congratulations aeglos and Sabine.

Enjoy the movie Tordek. Karen and I should be seeing it Saturday or Sunday. Maybe.

Dear Zoosk (or was it Joosk?) - if you're going to run a successful online dating service it might be a good idea if your ads didn't give the impression none of the people working for you knows how to spell single...

Damn it, the one player missing from my party isn't answering the phone.

I sent him a text message about tomorrow's game, and I hope he picks up on it.

*yawn*

Toady people made a secret treaty to wake mu up every time I manage to get back to sleep... Three times actively and a few more passively. So I slept for four hours and then for one hour, one hour, one hour, one hour...

Sleep torture, how lovely.

So 48 hours of mist and fog. I think the world is turning into SIlent Hill, or something more sinister.

Now there is sheet ice on the ground and you can virtually hear the breaking of bones outside. Walking uphill with no grip to get to work wasn't fun; downhill should prove treacherous.

How slick is the ice? Maybe sitting on one's butt and sliding down the hill would be safer? (depending upon quality and toughness of trousers)

Beware of the Wendigo lurking in the cold.

I'll certainly watch my back if I ever visit Lapland.

Very very slick, hopefully it might get warmer....but that's doubtful. I think my dignity might take a knock rather than my head.

+4 degree Celsius. Now I know why my head hurt so much on Tuesday.

Hah! We've got anywhere from -5 to -15 degrees Celsius around here.

Earlier today, we had one of our Japanese clients show up at the office for a meeting. He's a very nice old man who always brings weird Japanese candy and other random eddibles as gifts for everyone and a great trading partner.

Yet this time, he walked around the office giving phosphorescent condoms to everyone, saying "I'm gathering information on this new product. Please send me pictures and reports on how it performs. Very important".

Such is the life of the olive oil maker. Japanese old men giving you smuggled preventatives that glow in the night.

...words fail me right now.

Glowing? You could read in bed!

Spoiler:
Kamasutra

Grats aeglos!

... Now about these glowing condoms. Have you tried blowing them into shapes?

Just be sure that the lubricant doesn't smell funny...

I'm appalled, sir. Of course I did! Who wouldn't want a glowing balloon?

Then we all need to get our criket bats ready for what is coming.

Silver Crusade

Seriously. I didn't think 48 hours of fog in England was all that alarming. I thought the fog was a consistent feature since Roman times.

Silver Crusade

Morning, all. What did I miss?

True, it just depends where you are and fortunately it has eased up.

*DSX gets cricket bat out anyway and prepares for some googlies*

Quiet, you!

Today is plenty chilly enough at 48° (9° C).

Brrr.
