Excited about Woody: I want there to be people alive when I'm in the nursing home needing someone to come visit and game with me.
Taig, when is the next update on The GA Adventure?

I'm roughly the same age, so I'll game with you at the nursing home.

My weekend was kinda quiet. I stayed in and did some writing, which was for the best because I think the pollen count was 1.5 million ppm.

Roughly the same age as me, right? ;-D

Oh to be roughly the same age as Woody, again...

Be thankful for the quiet w/e. Mine was not so much. Major Family Drama.
Pollen: Yikes!

MFD is no fun. I hope things got resolved.

My weekend was peaceful until last night, when acid indigestion struck. I did discover I had no antacids in the apartment, so that was a nice bonus. Actually, no it wasn't. So, up for 3 hours and late to work this morning. :S

Ouch, hope you're feeling better.

Thanks I'm feeling better. It's still kinda there, but when I'm upright it isn't bad.

It's been a long time since I've had a case this bad.

Hmmm, well other than best wishes and offering advice of avoid acids and eat some bases I don't know what to say.

Thanks. It's all good. I should probably avoid caffeine today. That usually works best.

Except for the tiredness and the headache...

I've heard those 5 hour energy things work really well and a friend of mine who can't have caffine swears by them.

Actually, I'll elaborate a bit more.

Spoiler:
I can't help feeling like going to Long Island would be putting my life on hold. It moves me toward one goal, but significantly (possibly indefinitely) puts off everything else I wanted in my life.

That said, the move out West is expensive and carries some risk. I would feel foolish if I passed up an opportunity to move somewhere else only to fail and come home with my tail between my legs. My gut tells me it's what I want to do, but things are so complicated.

How have you been feeling Mac? Are you feeling up to it?

Kind of.

Physically, yes. I'm only going to be working 20-22 hours a week for awhile and it's going to be around people so I'm not locked in a room for 8-11 hours a day.

Mentally, I've had 2 months off. It's going to be hard to go back to that stressful enviroment. But I need to. For my cabin fever is "killing me" and the obvious reason of money.

I am sorry, man. Sometimes life gives us a choice between sawing off a randomly selected limb and eating a family member of someone else's choosing. Either way, it sucks. On the bright side,li is a bit closer to me and mine, maybe we can hang out sometimes?

I tend to take the Garfield approach to life and espouse that Mondays suck.

Re-reading the Original Conan stories, thank you Allen, and am up to Tower of the Elephant. I forgot just how varied the stories were and yet how strait forward the character is.

I liked Indy 4 all until the end, which just seemed like Lucas could not figure out how to end it without going all nutzy on us. Like with the Star wars prequels.

Yep, apparently you can't say you liked Indy 4.:)

Nope, just went to lunch.

As for Indy 4. It was good up until the jungle chase with the monkeys, then it went downhill from there.

But I agree most of Ford's movies have been good. There were the few flops, that one with Josh Hartnet being one of them, but overall fairly good.

And I'm gonna be honest when I say I'm looking forward to Cowboys vs Aliens.

I am as well, but not because of Ford. I hope it is better then what I have come to expect from Hollywood. My hopes are not high.

I still haven't seen Indy 4. It's high on my Netflix queue but I haven't really watched much tv or movies in the last few months.

It is hard to picture the distances in New York, it seems really massive from what I hear. Two hours and I could be in OKC or KC easily.

While I do enjoy the occasional more thought provoking movie, I have to admit that I really enjoy mindless entertainment in my movies quite a bit. :)

Explosions and super hero movies get bonus entertainment points.

See the only one of the four I felt actually was "trapped lightning" was Raiders. Heck they are showing it at the second run theater next month and I am going to go and watch it again on the big screen.

Thor I at first did not have high hopes for but the trailers are growing on me. Since Iron Man was not bad and The Incredible Hulk was OK as well, I hope that these two movies are going to be worth the price of admission. I would hate another Daredevil.
