Ugh. I think I got hour and a half, maybe two hours of sleep.

Now snow is falling.

I would feel much better if I just could sleep...

I am missing my regular degree of sleep issues...

Ok, trying to get some sleep. Again.

Up. Again.

Lying down for about hour gives me enough energy to stay up for another hour... For now. I expect some catastrophe later. I will try to get to sleep again after some time. Hopefully I will be tired enough to actually sleep.

How am I supposed to get better if I cannot sleep? Sleeping through illness was always the best medicine for me.

What does it say that my cashier shift at Retail Land is probably going to go more smoothly than the family gathering?

I went to apothecary, snow was blowing in my face. I was returning from apothecary and snow was still blowing in my face!

GAARRRYYYY!!!!

That nose spray should help. Or maybe not as well as intended, because of my broken nasal septum which might prevent it from reaching deep enough...

It better help, though. I spend money on it...

Hey I know that feeling.

Can someone fast forward the world a few days?

That it's a good thing this holiday only happens once a year. A feeling I know all too well.

That you're allowed an extra helping of Christmas candy.

I eventually need to play the Mass Effect series. I guess the trilogy will be a tax time buy.

I picked up all three games used for around $20 total. DLC will run you a bit more, but it's still pretty cheap.

Halleleujah, everybody say "cheese"...

Rioting at a mall near where I am.

Welp, Christmas is complete.

I hope the coppers are wearing reindeer horns on their riot helmets.

Found out Viper's Bugloss actually exists and is much liked by bees. Would an Oblivion themed garden be feasible, I wonder?

What do you get a dragon who has everything for his birthday?

More everything?

Roast hobbit?

Hobbit-detection and thwarting system?

Huh. I am watching some Sisters of Mercy music videos and now I am trying to recall any good music videos made within last year by any band... Is the art of making music videos dying?

Also, we saw the Hobbit yesterday. It is an impressive film, although the whole story lacks the epic gravitas of the Lord of the Rings. But if you just want to see lots of orcs get their heads chopped off, then it is a fun time.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MERRY CHRISTMAS CH!

Nothing like a good family gathering to remind me how much of a f!&#up I am compared with all of my cousins.

can you imagine what happens when

after 2 1/2 days of closed shops for christmas

and before the closed day of Sunday
(and shops includes every grocery store, bakery, everything beside gas stations)

everyone wants to shop on the one open day, buy food, spend christmas money, redeem gift vouchers and change or return unwanted gifts

and on that day you have freezing rain, strong winds and snowfall ?

Yep.

And the "gift" = "poison" is true for Swedish as well. We pronounce the g as the y in "yes," though.

Someone was actually doing this in the high street of the town where my parents live. While playing the hurdy gurdy (if you gave him £1, he threaded a Christmas ornament into his beard and played you a little tune). They were on first name terms with him, of course...

On the bright side of things, Paizo being blocked at work has led me to ignore many forums and focus on the ones that matter.

Happy New Year!

Cough-cough-cough-cough. Add some cough.

Uh, we still have a few days left, haven't we?
