Sorry to hear of the furlough possibility, AZ. I hope the resolution is not too painful.

I have a feeling that, no matter what, we're at least looking at some severe DoD budget cuts. Whether or not furloughs are a part of that, who knows....?

My big worry is that the wife and I are going to get bent over on taxes this year. When you throw the possibility of furlough in, plus other considerations, it means a rough year ahead. We may have to forgo some of the plans we had....

best of luck AZ

Eh, if it gets too bad, I'll just tell them to kiss my lily-white ass, get out of gov't service, and move down to Texas.

Scarab Sages

And, of course, I shall be nekkid when doing so! What better way for someone to kiss your ass?

Howdy! Remember, there's still time for you to get away! Marraige is an institution, but how many people want to spend the rest of their lives in an institution?

Run! RUUUUNNNN!!! :)

Just ask Alice, she'd know.

Scarab Sages

All right folks. Back to work for me.

Mrgh. Now I'm tired.

Our wind gusts subsided around 11 PM thankfully.

Well, at least I'm not missing much. Today's class was just a review anyways.
I'm sorry. Ear infections are awful.

Run away! Run away! It is your inner voice speaking!

Had an interesting ride to woork at 2am this morning. Rain squalls of hurricane force sweeping over the area. Later, I was loading my car with muffins when a branch smashed in a window somewhere near my bakery. Kinda freaky when that happenes in the predawn while you are standing outside in the howling cyclone.

Good it didn't hit you... *shurg*

It's all good. It's still breezy, but totally sunny.

Third night in a row of little sleep. Not as little as when the baby was a newborn, but between the hubby's snoring/coughing and the baby's nightmare, I'm tiiiiiiiiiiired.

LOL! The knees are one of the bad parts. I reckon it could be worse. MY buddy is looking at being med boarded for damage the Army did to his back. I hope they don't screw him as hard as have most of my other veteran friends.

We lost 2 of our RP group today. 1 has been posted to 'work' on the beach on Guam, and the other has been laid off so cannot afford to travel across the mountains for our game.

Although tonight's game was fun.

I almost caused a TPK. =D

I made my will save against it, though.

I do not mean as a character.

But maaaaan, would've been so worth it to use the phrase "I spend a mythic point to sneak attack Queen Titania.'

I love one-shots.

Or, as we should call them, "I broke the GM again."

Less success with that one tonight than usual.

Oh well!

You did NOT break me. I was looking forward to seeing your attempt. >:)

I get to get back behind the wheel tomorrow =)

We should probably implement a rule of "Pretend you want to play this character for more than three sessions."

Yeah, less success. =)

Yay for less/no more overtime!

Oh, and thanks all for the well wishes. I'm tired enough tonight that I might just kick the hubby out of the room if he's coughing too much. Or I'll go sleep on the couch.
