I'll take one.

Is it me or does the vast majority of them seem to appear as in their late teens to very early 20's? Makes me feel old.

Same, autumn's my favorite time of year bar none, and one of the few times I prefer TN weather to AZ. You just don't get the same awesome-looking skies or sheer color in the landscape in AZ.

Though I think it would be better for all of us if you'd keep your pants on.

Sovereign Court

I miss Michigan autumn. All the beautiful trees, fresh apples and cider everywhere, and just the hint of a nip in the air.

My favorites are the maple trees where the leaves in the middle are a bright golden yellow, slowly shading out to orange, with the leaves on the outside going to bright red and just a hint of burgundy. It's like they're on fire.

...

Awesome.

Sorry, was spreading my seeds for winter.

Slow day, get to leave early, woo!

New England fall is the cat's t!$*. Plus, Halloween/Samhain is my favorite holiday, followed by Thanksgiving.

I find myself in agreement with Orthos. Snow = proof the devil exists and wants me to be unhappy.
You gotta be kidding me. You enjoy triple digit temperature days?

I grew up in Louisiana, so no. But I do like it when the temperature hardly ever dips below freezing.

That mimic was the best costume there. And the Free Hugs thing is getting played out, but on occasion you run into someone who is not only a true believer, but incredibly hot...

Reminds me of what it looks like by the Brooklyn Public Library and the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. Gorgeous. I'll take a pic of my street as well when it gets fall-like- It's truly, truly beautiful.

I wonder if I'm going to be in the parade this year. I may just get hammered with friends.

Meh. Fimbulwinter me.

Hoi thing, good to see you!!!

I think I am somewhat lucky living in the coast near southern California.

Slogging my way through Inheritance on account of having read the previous three books. Every time I start to think it's going to stop sucking it switches to another perspective. I really hate it when the last book in a series that has been mostly enjoyable takes a turn for the worse. Especially when it's such a long book. And this is why I hate series. Bleh. I have a bad feeling I'm going to be disappointed by the ending.

So not sure how well that interview went. I think I talked too much. Also I am not used to being up at a real time anymore. damn second shift. Oh well, at least she got to see a finished Wunderlick test. It's nice bringing those things back to the tester completed within the time period. I think I almost gave the poor woman heart failure. Too bad they weren't all correct. Oh well, I got 90% of the right.
I"m sure you did great! Would this job be in Houston? You would like Houston. You would have lots of friends here. :D

No, still in Kansas, wife says it is too hot in Houston. It would however be so much closer for me for family and home.

Bah, 77 was the best year. Both Star Wars and I made my debut in the same year. It was an omen of greatness.

'70 was so much better of a year.;)

But there are so many good things to do in the snow.

We seem to have missed winter here in Lousy-anna last year.

No 'cool' temps at all.
Seriously, I think I wore an actual coat once the entire winter.

Still better off than Oklahoma right now. Tulsa has averaged 113 degrees for over a week straight. I read that the OK street lamps are actually starting to melt! ;P

+! on the MUST have central AC. I do not know how people survived in this climate before they were invented! :(

Wifey showed me pics of those her cousin sent to her.

I must voice my disapproval. Free hugs from voluptuously buxomed babes are NEVER PLAYED OUT.

Now write that on the board 100 times.

You can't tempt me, minion of the evil cold stuff! Not even with awesome Calvin and Hobbes cartoons!!!

Well, Jason's desire for more snow was granted when a freak, summer snow storm visited havoc on his home town. Meanwhile, Dave's visit with Max in New York City took a turn for the bizarre when, while touring landmarks, the pair were caught up in a violent battle between rival messenger services. And, Scott's attempt to re-wire his work cubicle for surround sound caused a base-wide......No, wait! That's my soap opera!

Some days you're the windshield. Some days you're the guy driving the vehicle the windshield belongs to - the windshield that suddently gets inundated with splatted bugs, obscuring your vision and causing you to run into a ditch in the middle of the desert highway, leaving you stranded in a barren landscape, the sun beating mercilessly down upon your weary head, slowly causing your fragile psyche to weaken under the blazing assault of heat and forcing you to imagine you're surrounded by purple elephants.

Scarab Sages

Ok, so maybe I'm exaggerating a bit.

Scarab Sages

Except about the purple elephants. Those things are everywhere.

Scarab Sages

There! You see what happens when there's no one around to interact with me?

Scarab Sages

Dogs and cats living together!

Scarab Sages

Mass hysteria!!!

Scarab Sages

Well someone told me yesterday
That when you throw your love away
You act as if you don't careY
ou look as if you're going somewhere
But I just can't convince myself
I couldn't live with no one else
And I can only play that part
And sit and nurse my broken heart

So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely

Now no one's knocked upon my door
For a thousand years or more
All made up and nowhere to go
Welcome to this one man show
Just take a seat they're always free
No surprise no mystery
In this theatre that I call my soul
I always play the starring role

So lonely
So lonely
