Greetings from Paizo land one and all. Got here safe, sound, and slightly ahead of schedule. Met up with Taig and Jess at the airport, shared a cab to the hotel, then went and grabbed some lunch together.
Now it's a bit of downtime before the meet and greet and eat later on.
Oh no, it is in all probability a mouse. Gigantic rats only appear in subways and parks (right aeglos and CH?)I think Sabine was unsettled when we saw all those rats. I should have let her go on believing that they were squirrels :)

If only they could be taught to eat Spanish forest slugs, those pests need a natural predator before they overrun every non-desert/non-tundra area of the world.Or bird, or gopher, or snake, or lizard, or...That's what cats are for, to deposit 1/2 a rat or mouse on your door-step.Seriously Freehold when you take care of the rat take a picture and post it on FB ;-)There are just some things that one could live a thorough and pleasant lifetime without ever needing to see.

we do have similar rodents, but they are primarily in brooklyn near the parks.

I'm blessed with a lot of smart and talented FB friends who share all sorts of interesting things on their feeds: how to make a fire tornado, Higgs boson information, cool literature and music, and of course gaming information. They make me happy.
All this talk about Facebook... I'm in a difficult position. I really don't like being around people. At all. But, if I don't have any sort of personal contact for a few days, I literally start going crazy, doing the whole Howard Hughes thing. Well, short of drinking my own urine. Facebook seems to be the unhappy medium here. Not a fan, but it's either that or get a bunch of people who don't know anything about Pathfinder to join FAWTL.

To shed some light: Aeglos, his girl Sabine, FHDM, and I were walking through Columbus Park in Chinatown at night (is this the start of a joke?) and there was some scurrying movement back and forth on the path in front of us. Sabine pointed it out with interest until I let her know that what she was seeing was actually 3 or 4 rats running back and forth across the path. Then she was not so enthused.
