And you've met mine, you know good and well they not only talk, but they NEVER stop. ;)
They BABBLE!!! Talking requires some maturity. ~looks at Moorluck~ Never mind.

Hi Nathan, it's been a while since you posted here, right?
How's Mildred? It HAS been a while.
And Mildred is still evil. Evil evil evil. She want's attention but doesn't know the right way to get it... so she waits until oh, say 2 AM and explodes onto the bed, leaps onto my chest (legs out wide, ears laid back, tail poofed up) and warbles. Terrible creature. Let me guess. Mildred is a cat? I sure hope his wife hasn't got a tail.

And yes Mildred is my cat. Emily is my wife. No tail that I know of, and I've conducted an extensive search... :-)
my new glasses are here. Next week, I get a hair cut.
In a glorious display of irony, my bracket at the office is in the lead.
I picked pretty much randomly.
You can't win if you don't try, right?
Wow. I just woke up... I didn't even realize I had fallen asleep on the couch. And the kids let me sleep AND didn't destroy the house or get into anything! O.o

O.o That's the hidden power of couch and subconscious planar reality called "Dream Time." Children respect order when elders are asleep.
Well, I now bifocals and a week ahead of delivery. Contact lens in may and a doctor's appointment next week for my Metformin refill. Medicine is good.

My sleep cycle would thank me!

Dinner and John Carter tonight! Time to go.
So a military plane crashed in the Scandes yesterday - and I just saw that the teams sent out to look for survivors are using dog-sleighs (in addition to terrain-vehicles and helicopters).
I love BttH.
And I'd like more of them.
I'd like to know that I left this world a little better than I found it.
Ah, who am I kidding?
I'd like some bacon. Or maybe beer. Or Popeyes. Or boiled crawfish.
Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
Saturday morning miniblitz.
It's a little after 7 am here now. Charlie's been up for about an hour and daddy's been keeping him occupied so mommy could sleep.
Serpent's Skull tonight! Woohoo!!! And, with luck, dinner the Flying Pig beforehand. Hopefully it won't be too crowded.
The boy is determined to get my phone.
That's it for now. Later folks!

Ugh. Morning came too soon

Ah technology. I can lie in bed, head throbbing, covered in sleeping puppies and still contemplate a miniblitz

Gods I feel like I'm hungover, yet I didn't drink =\ man middle age sucks the root sometimes
I used to party like a young god, ingest all manner of harmful intoxicants, shout and rage until the bleary predawn light and then scarf down several pounds of greased-laced comestibles. WTF happened?
