Fun time. I'm currently in a game where we're playing City of Golden Death. I only wish that the friend who's running it had realized that it's the third part of a trilogy. Oh well, gaming is gaming.

That's how I watched them. My parents were too poor to take us to the movies so I saw them out of order years later on VHS. The special surprise at the end of ESB had long been ruined for me. Maybe that's why it's my least favorite of the trilogy.

Sad. ESB is clearly the best.

I'm cheering myself up by listening to Atomic Array.

Anyone interested/excited in/for the upcoming release of Mass Effect 3?

TGIF! I agree. Also kingmaker on Sunday with my Friends.

We would be if any of our Xboxes worked.

I preordered the CE for PC. Although, I'm not to happy about the required Direct Download service required to play the game.

The kidlet. He and his dad just finished Mass Effect 1 and have started Mass Effect 2. His dad does the actual playing, but he watches and provides input on character decisions. All I hear about lately is Mass Effect. :)

41 and younger, that's what I keep thinking. LOL!

Is it Steam? I used to hate Steam, but it has improved a lot.

I use Steam for my Skyrim game. So far i can save screen shots and download new content directly to my PC. I have no complaints about Steam so far.

Ah, Steam.

Screen shots can be found on my Facebook page: Jeffrey N. Williams.

What's the word on the Pathfinder MMO. I'm receiving interesting dream scenarios from the speaking disembodied head of Dr. Carl Jung adrift on the Astral Plane.

Runs off to hold smallest child in front of microwave.

It's actually their own private service called Origin. And in order to play the game at all on the PC the Origin program needs to be running. But it doesn't require you to be logged on or connected to the internet. And it regularly tries to access various parts of your computer. It basically EA and Bioware's thinly-veiled attempt at more aggressive DRM.

Am I like the only non-video game player here?

Nope.

I do have to plead guilty to spending way too many hours playing Football Manager on the PC, though.

I bought Skyrim, played for about 15 minutes and haven't gone back. I couldn't tell you why, it looked cool, Dragons and getting executed and all that, but ....

IDK, the only video games I liked needed quarters. I do like MMOs but I'm super retro there, only like EQ1. I haven't found a game I'd play for the computer.

I'm no longer into video games as much. Mostly because everything that seems to come out these days is an MMO. I do occasionally replay old games though.

I have Skyrim and haven't played it for a while - its beautiful, has an excellent story and cool background - I dont work well with the UI, I am used to the LotRO interface and I found it very difficult to position myself in combat...lots of frustration.

I hate you... both of you. ;P

TBH I plan on waiting until the "Game of the Year" edition comes out so I can get all the DLC and add-ons for about what I'd pay for just the base game right now. Until then I repurchased Oblivion and am enjoying that on my new(to me) big screen.

I heartily agree with you Moorluck. I've kinda been broke and sold what games I could for ME3. But I love Oblivion. Best thing about it was all the mods people put out. And I love how Betesheda totally supports it and all the work fans put into the game afterwards.

Well, if you enjoy sci-fi Mass Effect is a really good series. It's a nice balance of action, story, and rpg mechanics.

I would say something about how painful it can be waiting on someone to send you books...but then someone here will kick my ass for the same thing. :-3

I've always found the ancient Romans and Greeks fascinating in their culture and hypocrisy. I've been really getting more into it since I started reworking the Kingmaker AP to a more Roman feel to the AP.
