And now, I shall do a birthday striptease to "Moon over White Plume Mountain"...

Liberty's Edge

Well it looks like I'm just in time!

rowr.

Unrelated note - poetry is weird, and I cannot focus on a damn thing lately. February is already sinking its claws in!

What poetry is weird? Shouldn't you save poetry for April? Or is this V-day poetry, warming up? In which case, don't go with weird.

Liberty's Edge

No no, it's a collegiate thing. 2 writing classes, 2 English classes. 1 writing and 1 English are now focusing heavily on poetry - its analysis and composition. Never been my thing, but it is good to broaden one's horizons.

I have high hopes, then!

Good to hear it!

How is everyone today?

Game night tonight, CotCT. My paladin of Abadar just got a dream sending booty call from Laori Vaus, though delivered via his sister-in-law. Awkward.

Hopefully I will not get called home from the game early this time because the kids are hysterical ...

Also your Paladins future mother in law will be there as well... and she can curse you into oblivion :-)

Grand Lodge

So yeah, today was damn busy. Two hour briefing from the battalion command team, then 100% weigh-in, class during lunch, meeting with the career counselor before final formation at 1500 to start Phantom time (early release on Thursdays for extra family time). Then I had to prune a bush that had grown against the bedroom window and kept my wife up during storms. Had to sign out some shears from the Lawn and Garden center, which have to be back by noon tomorrow. Then a quick walk to the commissary for more fruit, a 6 o'clock Family Readiness Group meeting, with pizza, and then my second class at 7:30.

Now I'm off to bed. Thank heaven tomorrow is Payday Activities, and we have the afternoon off. Even if we do have a battalion run in the morning.

Peace out guys.

That might cramp his style.

Thanks for the birthday wishes guys. :)

I had a lovely evening. A massage followed by dinner out, and the kidlet made a card for me. So cute. :)

Loving the personal messages. Makes the play by post sooooo much easier. We take turns with DMing duties and we often have multiple people running separate story arcs concurrently and this makes it so much easier for me to coordinate things without letting on that there's plotting afoot. So awesome. :D

Also, I am really impressed by how much faster and easier it is to find an avatar now. Makes it so much easier to make new aliases. You know what this means...more NPCs get their own alias! :)

Good morning to all of you, my beloved fellow FATWLY FOLK!!! Isn't it a beautiful f*#!ing day? The kind of day that makes you happy to be alive!

GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Or, as my dearly departed Granny used to say, "GO F#!@ YOURSELF!"

Honey Badger FTW!

Scarab Sages

Problem solved. Problem staying solved.

Hell yeah!

Someone needs to make a logo that reads "OGL or go to HELL." Maybe make it look like the compatibility doo-hickey.

Mornin'....whats up with all the rain. I mean we have needed rain, but all of it at once?!?! I don't have a boat ready or anything. I can handle some thunder, but a minute long that rattles the house?? Did that angel get a strike on several lanes at once?!?!

Scarab Sages

As long as no animals are marching around, two-by-two, you probably won't need a boat.

The Exchange

Not yet, but I could have sworn that the deer were drawing straws to see which ones were allowed on boats.

Scarab Sages

If I had to escape a flood, I'd want a diamond-encrusted helicopter gunship that runs on panda blood.

The Exchange

with a miniature elephant to ride in your lap?

Hell no! Give me a honey badger that eats nothing but coffee grounds and beef jerky, and chain smokes like a fiend.

Scarab Sages

I'll call him Stanley.

On my way to the airport now. I'll be home in 7 hours. Yay!

I had my alarm set for 7:15, which would have given me plenty of time to get ready, eat breakfast, and catch the 8:20 bus. I didn't need it though, because I woke up at 5:30 instead. Let me tell you how funny it was to look at my clock expecting it to read 7:00--it wasn't.

DIAMOND. ENCRUSTED. HELICOPTER. GUNSHIP!

Once again, I'd like to take this opportunity to recommend Action Figure Therapy for those who may ever have experienced it.

Warning: Honey Badger Blood Orgy may require brain bleach.

Gooooood morning fawtl!

No Kingmaker this weekend, but plenty of Pathfinder Society at OwlCon 2012.

With my college English minor, I took mostly poetry classes. I always felt like with novels and other long works, I could never dive as deeply into the text as I wanted to because there was so much of it, and if I tried it would take me an entire semester to finish one book. Ironically, poetry wound up being more accessible for me. Different strokes...

No, it was a gutter ball. What you heard was me tearing down the bowling alley in a rage.

Morning, all. What did I miss?

Well, Randy got some help from Stanley when trying to save his pet cat, Mr. Whiskers, from a pack of vicious pit bulls. Meanwhile, Jim's booze and drug fueled escapade earned him a permanent ban from Shakey's Pizza Parlor. And, across town, Mark proudly told his douchebag neighbor to go fu....No, wait! That's my soap opera.

Grr. Hungry? Needs foods, yes.

Huh? Wuzzat?

One of my new favorite quotes (warning, may offend most decent humans):

Spoiler:
It's like staring into a beautiful, g$!$#&ned waterfall made of sunsets and unicorn vaginas.
