Okay. So as many of you know, I'm a brony. My wife is disturbed by this. Here is an exchange that happened this morning.

Me- (while watching a bump for Strawberry Shortcake): Okay sweetie, now THIS is too cute. This is something I wouldn't be able to watch on a regular basis.
Mrs. Andromeda Freehold- Oh please. It's just a matter of where you get your vomitous cuteness from, ponies or, or...FRUIT CHILDREN!!!
Me- Hey, I can always eat the fruit children.
Mrs. Andromeda Freehold- silent pause followed by laughter That's just sick!
Me- Say, I could use the ponies to ride down any escaping fruit children. This is great!
Mrs. Andromeda Freehold- *scoff*
Me- Hey, I have a mode of transportation and emergency food! Did I mention the ponies can talk to me and provide companionship? Friendship really IS magic!!!

"Is this touching, Arthur, or should we be disturbed?"

Will do.

I found out last night that 2 different bros-in-law had surgeries this week. They both got thru OK, but what's up with the secrets?

My family tends to work this way too. We are all pretty much fine when we talk on the phone unless there is really bad news.

Tonight, my Carrion Crown party will make the dangerous trek from Ravengro to Lepidstadt--with a stopover in a friendly little community called Clover's Crossing! [Evil laughter]

Awesome picture folks, I tip my hat to Hugo and his crazy skills.

I would say Sebastian, but he'd probably sue me. :P

I f~#%ing LOVE Fruity Pebbles.

It's from page 43 of the Faction Guide. There's no caption, but from the section topic, I assume it's a cleric or so of Shelyn.

Spoiler:
Google Images found a full-size version here (scroll down a bit), but it'll probably get taken down once the Paizo peeps find it.

Sunday is Kingmaker with Jess, Wolfthulhu and crew. The similar attitude from Second Darkness is beginning to set in. I am just about ready for Kingmaker to end. Perhaps it is my personality that has a hard time dealing with 18 months of an AP. Just saying.

We are coming to the end of Curse of the Crimson throne... there have been periods where I got tired of the game - not the story.

We are in the Final stretch and I am looking forward to killing the big bad evil person and every member of a prominent Korvosan family.

Mothman is running our next AP, very much looking forward to that.

Things I learned from playing an AP:

Set aside 2 years.

Do not let me inject a full module as a side quest when the GM wants a break. Play it as a seperate module with different characters. It dilutes the story and confuses people.

Do have breaks at the end of each book - one or two sessions wih pregens (stops people from getting too invested in the new shiny) for a different setting/system or play a board game.

If the GM cant make it have a one off or a boardgame ready.

good morning FaWtL

good tips there 8th Dwarf.
with my groups usually around level 10 everyone starts to think what he/she wants to play next and the end of the campaign strains like chewing gum (as we say in Germany)
the last two adventures I usually cut significantly

Time to get the warm clothes on and get another pile of logs for the fire!

Sorry to hear that Zombie, but really what did you expect when you bit her? Once the infection runs it's way through her body and spreads to her brain the fever will break, so just tell her to hang in there and you'll have some tasty brains waiting after her transformation.

So ran a new pathfinder game on Friday. 4 elves and 2 humans in the lands of the Linnorm kings. I rolled really well, almost had a TPK and in fact if "outside forces" had not kept an eye on the party they would have been rolled hard.

Played Champions last night. made a simple brick. Made the mistake of grabbing the big bad. Mentalist. Handed me my ass on a silver platter.

Had a lot of fun.

The Exchange

Although one of my buddies has slowly slipped into being a "tea" party conservative. The um kibbitzing was something to listen to. :/

As a matter of fact no. 5th instead of 6th. 5th is a perfectly valid system as long as the GM puts some simple rules limiting how the characters are designed. My only b$+%* is that the GM has been running since 1st and still has a mind set of a much lower power system than 4th and up. So the character ended up being 200 pts, instead of 350. Much easier and quicker to make the character though.

I think a lot of classic meals were formed because it was what people had around at the time. :)

My buddy who was, strongly voicing his opinion last night is also my friend who fought on the front lines during the first desert storm as a medic and driver. After the war he was stationed somewhere in Germany. I don't recall specifically where, just that he spent a few years there. He told a story about how he went to some festival and when the fireworks went off he and his buddy found themselves under the bleachers with no understanding of just how they got there.

We got our new living room set!!!!!!!

It was a wondrous operation. Everyone did their part. I drove, my brother in law handled navigation and used mental tetris to figure out how we were going to get everything in the van, my friend let me borrow the van, my uncle in law gave us the set, my wife cleaned out the living room and moved out the old furniture..it was wondrous. We're trying to figure out the best way to light the room and what to do with the tables and everything, but it really did turn out wonderfully.

Well, Sarah attributed her stomach ache to some bad Thai food, never realzing that her body was now host to a soon-to-be-hatched alien life form bent on taking over the planet's entertainment industry. Meanwhile, Scott was apparently suffering no ill effects from his attempt to devour an entire chicken within 5 mintues. And, across town, Charlie decided that the best thing for everyone would be if....No, wait! That's my soap opera.

Me getting this new job would still be the best thing that could happen to us. Otherwise, it's going to take some creative strategies to back out of our lease and get into somewhere more affordable. Will this be the week?
