Nekkid friendship on ToP?

How forward. :P

The Exchange

So went on along walk with my youngest son and stopped by the Historical Museum while we were out. I was so damned tired when we got home I fell asleep for four hours. Woke up to my youngest trying to mash 1/2 cooked potatoes. Trying to salvage them now. Damn I was hurting. Feel better now though.

Shadow Lodge

Glad to hear it CJ. My road rash is healing up quite nicely. Only part that still stings is the bit on my palm.

He's got his faults, but he's a good person.

What did you get road rash from?

You have Advanced Bestiary? I love that book. I like the feral dragon template, because it lets me throw around big dragons at low levels.

I really need to get more use out of those books. But they make a very nice collection.

I really took those pictures so I could type up a list of all my books without having to sit in front of the shelf while I did it. Accidentally got a second copy of Complete Champion after ordering from memory and not checking the shelf.

Walking the dog. Went to take off running with him and he got underfoot. Stepped on his paw, misstepped and jammed my knee, then sprawled on the pavement hands and knees first.

The Exchange

Of course I wake up to sheer torture. The wife is for some reason watching a twilight movie. Why? because there was nothing else on.

I did the same thing when I was 16, with a bicycle. Derp

dog walking, not Twilight movie. Back then vampires were still fierce.

Shadow Lodge

I am so glad my wife is not a Twilight fan.

Ouch I remember days like that. I have not had a dog in a long time. between the wife having allergies and Asthma combined with the fact that her stepdad was a dog breeder I doubt very much I shall ever be allowed a dog again. I miss having 1.

I had a few bike incidents, but only one scraped me up.

I just can't afford a dog right now.

The Exchange

I think I may call it a night guys. I talked with the wife today about the possibility of me getting back into the ring... she was less than enthused with the idea. :/

My wife wanted him, and I figured it wouldn't hurt me. (HA!) I'm not a dog person, even now, but I'm less apprehensive of them now that I understand them better. And Ozzy is an adorable puppy, even when he's going absolutely crazy. I can't blame him today, we've been on the go the last month or so and haven't been able to give him his regular walks. Too much energy being pent up.

What are you talking about? People just give you $1200 Pure bred huskies if your nice. :P

The Exchange

Well I did get a bad road rash when I was like 13 from my 10-speed. I was so proud to have something I could do halfway descent and was riding like a bat out of hell when I came into the gravel drive and well I went right and the bike went left and I had a burn from just above my knee up to my waist.

Took pictures of my gaming shelf, thought I would share with everyone.

I need more room.

Almost forgot the top.

Nice collection!

As for exercise and such it is a good idea, as for beating another person for no reason but the lulz, really silly I would say.

Vet bills.

I just don't need to give Fate That Torturous B$$!# one more excuse to make me have to spend $200 in any given month that I don't expect to have to spend.

I'm hosting four in the house ATM. Chaos ensued

The Exchange

Oh as for Psionics, mentioned earlier; I loved the 3.5 psionic rules. I had several times thought of just banning basic vanacian magic in place of the psionics classes. They work better. Have more flair.

The Exchange

Yes fate is a b+#$#.

My wife says that's exactly what they teach you to do with heels in self-defense classes. Sounds like she attacked him after the fact tho.

I got 3.5 Complete Scoundrel, Complete Champion, and Complete Warrior from the library. Gon see if I can convert some new base classes over to Pathfinder and maybe turn some prestige classes into archetypes.

I also got Tome of Battle from the library. I won't use it as is, as I have to return it eventually, but maybe I can crib some new house rules.

Your library has RPG accessories?

I have yet to find one that does.

They were actually a gift from a grognard friend. :)

My Encyclopedia Magica are among my most prized acquisitions.

Shadow Lodge

An excellent one, much more varied than mine. (Those non-D&D ones at the bottom are mostly my wife's, minus the Warhammer FRP books I got when I tried that system out.)

Silver Crusade

I need an RPG bookshelf.

First, I need to get all of my RPG books, many of which are still boxed up in a garage in Rochester.

The Exchange

My hoard is so much smaller. Fluffed out with many issues of Dragon and Dungeon.

Yeah, I'm glad my wife... Wait, dammit.

Shadow Lodge

It's a sad day when I have to box up my books.

Mostly because they're so damn heavy!

Shadow Lodge

Crimson Jester wrote:

I have those in two comic storage boxes under my desk. :)

Silver Crusade

That's why they're in Rochester and not in L.A.

One of these day's I'll figure out how to get them heavy sons-a-b$#@#es across the country.

I miss some of my cookbooks, too.

My best road rash story is a bit more recent...

Similar to my collection. Too much stuff, not enough space.

The Exchange

Crimson Jester wrote:

I have the complete run of Dungeon. Many of the fist few years are a bit battered, but over all in good condition.

Shadow Lodge

I'd go for a complete collection, but that's a lot of work for something I'll rarely ever look at.

Celestial Healer wrote:

My wife prints them out and puts them into document protectors in a three-ring binder. There's no reason to buy a bunch of cookbooks when we aren't going to use half of the recipes.

The Exchange

Logged my mileage with my local H.O.G. Chapter today. A bit more than 14k. 8K of which were from the previous owner.

About a thousand miles a month since I got it. This time next year, I'll have exact numbers. Actually, they are logged quarterly, so I'll know what I'm looking like in 3 months or so.

Isn't it though?

The new gaming group on Friday was fun. One munchkin player insists that his 4 primary natural attack barbarian is perfectly legal and balanced... but nice guy, anyway. The whole group seems pretty cool.

The Exchange

I have found some cook books are worth the read even if you do not choose to make many of the recipes. I can however see the intelligence of coring down and just using the ones you need. Liz, I believe, showed me a website once that you can put in your ingredients and find a recipe to fit it.

My RPG hoard:

1

2

3

To finish, I have a copy of Bestiary 3 in the mail right now.

Yes, I am aware that my hoard is pitifully small.

Well, damn. I guess the f#!@ breaks the link.

It's
"WTF should I make for dinner?"

The link is broken.

*Does manual search for site*

...F%$#ing awesome.
