For workers who earn it, once every 3 months we have a long lunch. It starts with a limo ride and we generally go to the Japanese place. Lasts about 2 1/2 hours.Do you guys in the US have a tradition of the long work lunch. At the end of the year as projects wrap up, our boss takes us out for "lunch" (starts at 12:30 and finishes when we go home).
The boss took us out for Brazilian - fantastic food and beer, we are now on our way to the pub.
what do workers have to do to earn it?

You need a regular electric drip coffee brewer, you fill the filter to th top with coffee and the water tank with Vodka. then you brew it.

Well, today is a bit mixed. ALarm didn't go off this morning. Woke up when we were supposed to be leaving. And still managed to get kidlet to school only five minutes late and me to school only fifteen minutes late. Not bad for oversleeping by an hour and a half.
Got my micro test back. 83. :( Lowest score I've had in two years. And now I have to do super freaking amazing on my project and my final or I'll lose my A. :(
But I also got my chem quiz score back. 26 out of 25. :) And it looks like I have a little breathing room there. As long as I don't screw up royally I'll have no trouble keeping my A in that class.
....I know, I know. But I work really hard to keep that 4.0 GPA. And I'll be super bummed if I lose it.
And now I'm debating whether to stay for lecture or just go home. Feel like crap. Fever going up again. Why is it I always get sick the week before finals?....oh, yeah, because I stress out so much. : /
