The 8th Dwarf wrote: You are stuck on a desert island you can only take one of the following DVDs with you... What movie do you take and why:

The Golden Child
Coming to America
Lady Hawk
Escape from LA
Conan
Red Sonja
Stripes
Ghostbusters
Gremlins

Fast Times at Ridgemont High

Fast Times at Ridgemont High, why? I hate Red Sonja, and have the rest all but memorized.

Does this mean I should do a mini blitz?
All Fffffflllleeeeeessssshhhhhh issssss minnnnneeeeee!
Might as well. The boy is asleep at the moment
And though I love him, staying home with him is slowly driving me crazy.
But at least I get to watch a bit of Supernatural reruns.
After reading all those posts, I feel we should start a 'Ask Crimson Jester' thread.

Finally watched that premier episode of the Green Lantern Animated Series. It was pretty good.
Damn, there are some annoying commercials on tv.
But some of them are about food. Making me hungry.

Not sure what I'm going to eat for lunch today.
This... Is the greatest thing I've seen all day. What is it? The 8th Dwarf wrote: Queen documentary on the TV.... I forgot about the film clip to Bicyle Race....very NSFW.
I would actualy be interested in the Tour De France if it was nude women riding bicycles.
Maybe some leftovers......
Crimson Jester wrote: The 8th Dwarf wrote: Do you guys in the US have a tradition of the long work lunch. At the end of the year as projects wrap up, our boss takes us out for "lunch" (starts at 12:30 and finishes when we go home).
The boss took us out for Brazilian - fantastic food and beer, we are now on our way to the pub. For workers who earn it, once every 3 months we have a long lunch. It starts with a limo ride and we generally go to the Japanese place. Lasts about 2 1/2 hours. what do workers have to do to earn it?
Sometimes tv shows can be weird.
You disappoint me. Then again, I am not a Hal fan. Aberzombie wrote: Finally watched that premier episode of the Green Lantern Animated Series. It was pretty good.
Did you ever get the feeling you were being watched.
That the eyes of strange things were upon you.
"it was the heat of the moment"
And the beast is awake. Bye for now.

20ml (1 part) coffee liqueur (Kahlúa)
20ml (1 part) Irish Cream (Baileys Irish Cream)
20ml (1 part) Orange Cognac (Grand Marnier)
have you heard about a Cocktail called "Death at Stalingrad"
You need a regular electric drip coffee brewer, you fill the filter to th top with coffee and the water tank with Vodka. then you brew it.
A friend tried it, he said it tasts exactly as it sounds :-/
Well, today is a bit mixed. ALarm didn't go off this morning. Woke up when we were supposed to be leaving. And still managed to get kidlet to school only five minutes late and me to school only fifteen minutes late. Not bad for oversleeping by an hour and a half.
Got my micro test back. 83. :( Lowest score I've had in two years. And now I have to do super freaking amazing on my project and my final or I'll lose my A. :(
But I also got my chem quiz score back. 26 out of 25. :) And it looks like I have a little breathing room there. As long as I don't screw up royally I'll have no trouble keeping my A in that class.
....I know, I know. But I work really hard to keep that 4.0 GPA. And I'll be super bummed if I lose it.
And now I'm debating whether to stay for lecture or just go home. Feel like crap. Fever going up again. Why is it I always get sick the week before finals?....oh, yeah, because I stress out so much. : /
