Hey, whatever floats your boats!

If he went onto Facebook, he could poke himself virtually as well.

He did? Does this mean he's like Samson now and has lost all his powers?

God Treppa. This made me lol like I haven't loled in a while. Not only am I relieved to discover that I am not the only person who enjoys this, I will think of you every time I poke myself in the eye. Which is the second strangest compliment I have ever given someone.

What's the first? You have to dish now.

I'm more worried to know that the stache is now traveling free without Cosmo holding back it's awesome might from taking over the world.

AZ is slipping. He didn't even get one whole page out of his soliloquy.

I am so late. Gotta run. This solo gig wears me out by the end of the week.

It costs a little more money but you can expedite renewing your passport. Just thought I would give you a heads up if you did not know.

I don't intend to retire unless I win the Powerball. And since that seems less likely of happening, I'll be sure to die peacefully in my sleep at 127 -- while driving to work.

:( Well at least we can mourn the loss of our 401ks together and find solace in that?

feels sort of like a funeral . Here I am getting up to talk about Treppa and my 401K. "I miss then those my 401ks they were a good chaps .. blah blah that sort of thing"

Meh, that's kind of what I expect from a reader-derived poll. A lot of good stuff mixed with a lot of trash. I was kind of surprised about Animal Farm, though--what's that doing there?

401k

In the grim future there is only sub-optimally leveraged debt leading to fiscal crisis.

This is a government passport, not a civilian one. But we're working on getting that one expedited as well.

Things have been weird at work, lately. My boss didn't show up Wednesday, and Thursday we got word that two of my coworkers were in charge, and my boss was not to be contacted.

Today I found out he suffered three mini strokes Wednesday morning. He seems able to control all of his extremeties, and as of this morning he knows his own name and understands where he is again.

Poor guy just got a divorce and moved from his home in Indiana down here to Houston under pressure from work. Any prayers, positive thoughts or good vibes you want to send his way would be appreciated.

For some reason, having prospective employers contact my former employers scares me. I really don't think any of my old bosses would throw me under the bus, but it's always in the back of your head, you know? Like... "What if he brings up that time I..." When, of course, no supervisor providing a recommendation would ever do that.

my mom was director of nursing at a nursing home for many years, and even if she couldn't recommend someone, what she could legally say was extremely limited, from what I've heard.

Besides, there's nothing bad to say about you, right? :)

It's the employment agency that's doing a thorough reference check.

The job I really have my fingers crossed about didn't even ask for any.

Good question, it is a bit of a modern fable, I guess I just always thought of it that way.

The Exchange

Which would then put Stranger in a Strangeland in at #10 for Sci Fi And Animal farm at say #6 on Fantasy and drop watership down off the list.

The Exchange

Also this is based off of that list on NPR not my choices.
