Nekkid wife blaming!!

Scarab Sages

I was going to try and see it today, maybe. But that plan has been effectively destroyed.

Scarab Sages

Was also going to try and cut my grass today. I doubt that's going to happen.

Scarab Sages

And, I was going to try and make a beer run down to Total Wine and More in Delaware. Yeah....that's not happening either.

Scarab Sages

Sooooo....that's my weekend pretty much ruined before it even started.

Scarab Sages

Also, my trip to Japan in September is now in jeopardy, because the f@@+ing secretary forgot to let me know that my passport expired back in mid-July. Now I may not have time to get a new one.

Scarab Sages

So, all in all, this week is ending with a "hte suck".

Scarab Sages

But, on the positive side, good old Vic locked one of the troll threads. Huzzah! I'll have to remember to buy that man a beer at the next PaizoCon.

Scarab Sages

You hear that WERTZ?!? I owe you a beer!

Scarab Sages

Of course, I owe several to PMG, SM, and Lilith. Because they all kick ass.

And, of course, I owe one to the Lord Jason as well.

Scarab Sages

And maybe Cosmo, in hopes of appeasing his stache and forstalling its wrath.

Scarab Sages

And James Jacobs, for answering questions and putting JuJu zombies in PF.

Scarab Sages

But not that Mona guy. He's creepy. And I heard from Sebastian that's not Mona's real hair.

Scarab Sages

If I left anyone off the list - take the hint!

Scarab Sages

just kidding.

Scarab Sages

maybe.

Scarab Sages

Did you ever get the feeling that some people do certain things just to vex you?

Scarab Sages

For instance, take an action that belonged to them, that's overdue by about a year or two, and re-write it so that it's your action.

Scarab Sages

F!$~ YOU PAUL!!!

What did I do?

Scarab Sages

Crap! Now I'm talking to myself.

Scarab Sages

But at least I always have something interesting to say.

Scarab Sages

Mostly.

On occasion.

Ironic:

Just before my last inspection trip, my boss had me order an air card so my laptop could connect to our system while I was on travel.

The thing got ordered, but we were told it would take a month or more to arrive - not enough time to benefit the trip he wanted me to take it on.

Flashforward - I now have the device, but my next trip (theoretically) is out of the country. I cannot take my laptop out of the country.

Scarab Sages

Mmmmm.....potato chip.

Scarab Sages

Apparently, there were police cars in my neighborhood yesterday, at a house around the corner. There were also flat-bed tow trucks hauling off a bunch of vehicles.

Scarab Sages

Weird.

Scarab Sages

Went on a Town Watch patrol last night. The topics of conversation ranged from police car speculation, to bong hits in Colombia, to vibrators.

Scarab Sages

It was an interesting conversation.

Scarab Sages

Is it sad that I'm already thinking about what to do for dinner tonight?

Alright then. That's enough of this crap.

Later folks.

Congrats! Temp-to-hire?

Officially -- not really. But the possibility is there.

My son (9-yr-old) asked me if my old company had any rivals and if so I should apply there. I knew someone at one of our "rivals" and sent in my resume. I'm here doing stuff very similar to what I used to do -- only a little more focused. "Permanent" will depend on a) if there is still work to be done later on (likely) and b) if I can make myself necessary (hopefully likely).

Now that is one smart kid you've got there!!! Revengering is the best way to make money I've heard of to date.

I'm not catching up on 1700 posts so let me know if I missed anything big.

I've been quite busy IRL, and I have some promising leads on jobs. I'm going to make a few posts and probably be out of touch for a while.

I got a letter from HD. If anyone wants to exchange email with him please create a throw away email account and mail it to him on a post card. He appreciates actual mail, and he says there is more info on his facebook page.

He sends his best wishes to you guys.

Jess, he says congrats on the house!

TOZ, he said to watch you six and get home safe so you guys can game some more!

Y'all take care.

BT!!! GOOD TO SEE YOU!!! Even if it is only for a drive by!!

God Treppa. This made me lol like I haven't loled in a while. Not only am I relieved to discover that I am not the only person who enjoys this, I will think of you every time I poke myself in the eye. Which is the second strangest compliment I have ever given someone.

Maybe Moff has to get his permanent job Klingon-style.

Lumbergh: "Yeah, Moff, I'm gonna need you to come in on Saturday. Uh, why do you have a bat'leth?"

Moff: "Die, petaQ!"

Not yet. I'm going to wait until Monday, so the GenCon dust clears, and then ping ping ping.

I had to think a moment to realize which <redacted> you were referring to. :)
