Wow, what have you guys been talking about?

Life.

The universe.
And everything.

Mostly life.

Life? Don't talk to me about life.

Back from spontaneous cinema visit. I have watched Rise Of Skywalker and enjoyed it.

Brain the size of a planet and you want to talk about pants? Are you also going to send me on errands to open doors for people?

Is that going to be a problem?

I just spent three and a half hours having lunch and chatting with one of my best friends from college. We've only been trying to get together for a year and a half since I've been back in town. Sometimes you really don't realize how desperately you need to just hang out with friends instead of your kids all the time until you actually do it.
Plus we went to the Hari Krishna restaurant here in Dallas which has some of the best vegetarian Indian food I have ever had.

Always trust monks.

Greens is the best vegetarian food around here. Run by Buddhists.

If it's all they can eat, it has to be good.

If you don't have Marvel's Spider-Man on the PS4, get it.

Easily the best video game of the year.

Speaking of Breath of the Wild (quiet, you, it's still 2017 in my heart... uh... sort of...), I just spent an hour and a half fighting the final boss. I defeated one of his forms with only three hearts, a warm doublet for armor, a bunch of apples, and some bombs as weapons! Huzzah!

(I was nearly immediately ended by the second - of, like, six, I think? - form, but you can't take that away from me!)

Meh. I am not going to get PS4, unless someone hands one to me for free. And even then would have to bother with getting a screen.

Want to play video games.

Want to play ANY games!

My vacation was (mostly) fun, but not very restful. :(

On the plus side, after a week of not-drinking, I am now making up for a weeks of lost drinking time!

(TBH< I dont really drink that much. But a week without was too long!) :P

Not yet. It was my first time watching it. 12 episodes was way too short.

I'm only on episode two of season 2 but I love the back and forth between Belmont and Alucard in Castlevania.

Belmont: Eat s&*# and die

Alucard: Yes, f!~* you.

Cracked me up way more than it should.

No; Restaurant to Another World is food appreciation without the porn. Clothes don't fly off. Girls don't have orgasms because the food tastes so good.

So imagine a laid-back, well-done Food Wars without the stupid.

Not as many as I would LIKE to! ;P

I have been playing Champions Online a lot this past year. Or three.
When I get burnt out on that I usually go play some Star Trek Online.

BUT I dont really LIKE online games. Usually Too frustrating for a casual gamer like me. (I particularly detest the games that force you to participate in PvP as part of the game, City Of Heroes/Villains anyone?);P

I loved the old SWOTOR on the Xbox because you could PAUSE when you needed too. :P

I have an ever -growing collection of games on my GOG account I will likely never get around to playing.
But in December I DID purchase and download the Pathfinder: Kingmaker game. That is pretty fun so far. Very similar to the Never Winter Nights series I used to play a lot. (I DID download ONE add-on for it, the one that allows you to run combat as an actual turn by turn style. YOU try aiming a Fireball while the targets are actually moving!) ;)

I absolutely loved the manga. It was surprisingly excellent.

I have not seen the anime.

(For the record, though I played flag football, and enjoyed soccer in highschool, and technically plaaaayyyyyyyed basketball, I have extremely low interest in sports.)

So, FYI, besides MANY other things, I am also an Uncle. ;P

Nephew #1 we shall call 'Not The Eldest' (NTE for short) because my daughter likes to remind him that she is older than him by exactly 30 days. ;)

Nephews #2 & 3 are twins, we shall henceforth refer to them as 'Thing 1 and Thing 2'

So apparently today, NTE was sitting around the house, and posting, and Thing 1 walks in, holding about 6 cans of tuna;

T1 'Hey Thing 2, you know how mom gets really mad when we eat all of the tuna?'

T2 'yes?'

T1 'Lets eat all the tuna!'

(Apparently this was said not only with great enthusiasm, but with a big grin as well)

Hey, Sharoth! I'm doing well. Work is the same as always. More water got into the fire alarm pull boxes. We got a strobe, but no siren. Thank God for small favors. No, I didn't tell the other garage, yet, because the night shift guard is still an idiot. No change in my eye.
