I don't know why Rick and Shane couldn't work things out.

Edit: See, things would have been different if it was on Cinemax.

I was just drive by Mormoned.

I'm waiting for Tiny T-Rex's bus and this car drives up, this guy in a suit jumps out, says "Hey man!" "Uh, what?" "I just wanted to give you this card, about Jesus Christ!" "Uh, no" and I go back to twiddling on my phone.

My brother is currently doing Final Fantasy XIV at the moment because they’re offering free play. I don’t think I’ll join him since I’m rather busy trying to find time to work out. Pokemon Go was one of the ways where couch potatoes all over the world were going out to parks and getting some sunshine. Because they were trying to catch their legendary pokemon there. I think getting couch potatoes out of the house is already a great feat in itself.

No getting me nekkid isn't a feat.

*gets dressed as she glares at the thread*

I thought I was the only one here playing pokemon go (I just caught a celibai btw!) I'm gonna have to add you folks to my friend list I only have like 5 friends on it atm.
Tacticslion, LordSynos, and I all play regularly, and Scint less often mostly because the weather in her area is wretched. Please share friend codes =D

I play less regularly these days, since my batterly literally started dying when I boot up the app (my battery suuuuuuuucks these days, and the app is intense enough that it just devours my battery).

But, yeah, I play when I can.

I do understand the height requirement though. How do you help people load their luggage if you can't reach the compartment?

That's the one requirement I don't understand. I mean, the luggage compartments are X cm high, or whatever task it is that necessitates the height requirement, so shouldn't X be the height requirement? Rather than Y and Z height requirements?

Anyway, are you looking for a change of profession?

In other words...why is it gender specific at all? If you have to be this tall to ride the ride, that's not something that gender should make a difference on. I'm also surprised they don't set an upper limit on height, since on a lot of smaller regional jets I'm brushing my head at the top of the cabin. Any taller and being a professional flight attendant would be a very uncomfortable job.

The average Singaporean woman is 160cm, while the average male, 171 cm. Its not too likely any Asians would be bumping our heads against the cabin anytime soon, besides if they put it at 165 cm for all, they'd probably get few female flight attendants making the cut.

And if they put 158 cm for all guys, it would mean all guys could qualify so you'd get more male cabin crew then female, but for all the flights I've been on Singapore Airlines the cabin crew serving the passengers have been female...

Fair enough, I just get a kick out of talking philosophy and religion.

Tho really, I can just trade reading material if I don't feel like talking.

Nothing against them, I certainly have my own views, but I hate talking about it. :-)

Because it'll probably get flaming bikes shot at him?

And religious discussions, depending on who are the people discussing can get really heated, leading to hurt feelings and worse.

I'll say I don't do philosophy because my mind just doesn't work that way. I only think about things that have practical applications.

I heard something about no more new APs or PFS scenarios will be released after August 2019 when it's all going to be PF2.

Anyone has any links to share on that matter? I'm not very good with my search-Fu today.

Meanwhile, my father-in-law and his wife invited themselves over for dinner tomorrow night.

Tomorrow is the last day of school before spring break, the kids are all insane, I have to have a makeup parent-teacher conference with Val's teacher from October or November because we never had one and his teacher is getting in trouble for it, my house is a wreck, and I kind of just don't want to.

So the next four days are like this:
Tonight: madly cleaning the house, washing the tablecloth, going to the grocery store.
Tomorrow: FIL and wife to dinner.
Saturday: working in MIL's attic all afternoon.
Sunday: MIL coming for early dinner (once a month, was already on the calendar)

But THEN I get to rest.

Ah! This is about iZombie that other zombie show that'll never catch on, what're'ya'call it, "the Walking Inbred," yeah!

But Shane really didn't start out bad. He hit a really self-destructive spiral after Rick came back, and Rick was kiiiiiiiiiind of arrogantly assertive about the whole thing... but (at first) in ignorance, because Lori was really insistent he never be told.

Basically, it goes like this:
> Shane (horrified) believes his best friend was shot and killed
> Shane comforts Lori; it becomes a good relationship
> Rick miraculously shows back up
> Lori (embarrassed and angry) stonewalls Shane
> Shane (embarrassed and angry) blames first himself, then Rick
> Rick (clueless) is kind of all, "what?" (then, later), "uh... I mean, I'm angry, but I don't blame anyone when you legit thought I was dead (but, dude, you couldn't check? that's kinda lame)"
> Shane goes down a spiraling rabbit hole of awful
> Rick and everyone else basically goes slowly insane and stupid bitter and distrustful

The parent-teacher conference won't be in LM's house. But the general feeling of "my house is a wreck" does coincide with "Father-in-law and his wife inviting themselves over". And it's just one more thing that adds stress - she would have wanted to clean it up some for the mother-in-law, but that was previously scheduled. Now she's going to feel pressured to clean it up earlier/faster because of the sudden visit from the father-in-law.

It's just that "one more thing" that makes a hectic week that much worse.

Yeah, it's actually good timing. My bookcase is just about full, so I figure once they start shipping 2nd-edition APs and Campaign Settings I'll just cancel all my subscriptions.

Not out of bitterness, but more of, "I have enough unplayed APs on my bookshelf already to last me the rest of my life, and I don't need another new half-baked system that has sounded nothing but unpleasant to me in every discussion I've heard."

("Unpleasant" as in, "Not what I'm looking for in Pathfinder, because I play several other much simpler systems, so I don't need 'Pathfinder Lite'").

Doh, I misunderstood and thought the parent teacher conference was going to be at her house, which is extremely odd by standards here. I just thought in the States they did things differently.

Sorry, I can't pop over and help clean up your house, nor am I uh...good at house cleaning to be honest. You need to give me specific orders like..scrub this toilet floor, wipe the kitchen sink, clean the cupboards...else I won't automatically do it.

Too much stupidity and griping to put in a short time frame, but:
- After spending SIX HOURS editing my recordings for the production team, they said, "You are not allowed to do your own edits! Go back, re-publish the raw files, and tell US where to edit things."

OK, probably political for many:
Having worked with unions before, it's the exact same thing: "How dare you try to do our work for us! We need to justify our existence!"

Also, there was an article entitled, "Why aren't smart people happy?" and it tried to explain how smart people could make poor choices.
My answer was much simpler: "Because we live in a democratic republic with the rest of you idiots, and we have to live with YOUR poor choices!"
As evidence, I point to:
- The anti-vaxxer's son who stated that his mother's sole "source of truth" for her beliefs was Facebook
- The sponsored ads I've started seeing in Yahoo!: "Mom has 10' son. Police are investigating!" "Amelia Earhart's plane found! See what was inside!"
Er... if such record-breaking events occurred, don't you think they'd appear somewhere other than sponsored ads?

Just the abject stupidity and gullibility of my fellow humans never ceases to depress me.

Anyway, I have to re-do all my edit timestamps for a bunch of losers, so off I go again.
