If I HAVE to eat fried chicken at a fast food place, Popeyes is preferable to KFC... however, once you've had the local favorite of King Edward's Chicken you'll never look at that other chicken the same way again.

What's wrong with your spoiler? I can't read it just like I couldn't read Ashe's before. Are you guys doing something weird with your BBCode tags? If you are, how can I change mine so that only certain others can see it?

I like spinach of all kinds! I used to sneak into the garden and eat a bunch of spinach when I was a young'un because it TASTES SO GOOD. +1!
Random: If you ever have the opportunity, try lomatium. It's pretty strong, but I had some after that BBS on burritos and it gave them an interesting flavour. Probably better plain, but still.

Also, this.
Don't worry, it's not "Rednecks." Great song that. I bet Gark would love it.

I saw a sign said "No Trespassing."
But on the other side it didn't say nothing,
That side was made for you and me.

Fried chicken, KFC, Jack-in-the-Box, not-liking-spinach, bacon, and Wal-Mart?!? It's like I DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU, man!

No, I mean come over to Iraq and say that.
We have Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Burger King, and two no-name food joints. Not exactly a wide array of choice.
At least you don't have McDonald's!
And +1 to no-name food joints. Their food is almost always better ('round here, especially Mexican) than fast food. Less of a plastic taste (TO ME), I guess.

The no-name italian joint here thinks garlic bread is sprinkling garlic on plain pizza crust and baking it.
Sounds pretty bad. Although I once went to an Italian place where the "garlic bread" was a slice of bread (like from a loaf of WonderBread or BunnyBread), toasted, then sprinkled with garlic powder. No butter or olive oil, just the powdered garlic. It wasn't very good.

Hello everyone,
back from Oslo:
- Maiden and Alice cooper both where great
- Norwegians are not very outgoing at concerts
- Metal is family entertainment there, a lot of families, Middle aged Father + teenage son combos, at least 50 children under ten
- the whole hotel was full of maiden fans, the hotel played Maiden in the lobby and the restaurant the whole afternoon :-)
- Olso is nice but not spectacular
- norwegian women are very very very beautiful and wear very short skirts, pants and especially cut-off jeans
- Olso waiters are the slowest i have ever seen
- EXPENSIVE!!
- a beer € 11,5 thats $16,5 !!!
- A steak €47 - $67 (no we did not eat one)
- The changing of the Guards at the castle is very spectacular
- We met In Flames at the Airpot :-D
now back to read the thread

Bummer.
Then I guessed you also missed the Sesame Street "adaptation" of The 39 Steps from Monsterpiece Theater. Double bummer.
