I have a problem with this article because it clashes with my preconceived notions and/or biases. Also, it looks like a rhino.

EDIT: dang it, FaWtL, you just had to... fine. Puts clothes back on.

EDIT 2: yes, I'm bypassing the obvious joke, here. I'm presuming either cap or Tgtg would want it, if anyone. Dang it, FaWtL, you'd just have to be the top post on such a comment...

EDIT 3:

Awesome! And good luck!

It seems consistent these months that it's you or I that runs afoul of that rule. Hmp.

It "feels" like it's been me more often than not lately, but I don't have time to check right now. Luck of the draw? Or FaWtL conspiracy?! YOU decide!

Wait, you didn't know about that one? I saw a picture of it in the middle of eighties in an illustrated book about history of life on Earth. Later I got my own copy of that book. It's still somewhere around here. *makes a wide gesture at his room*

The only news is that they survived longer than previously thought.

NH was kinda joking there. FAWTL has three basic rules: No sports, No politics, and No Religion talk. We aren't super into enforcing them, but you will get flaming bikes launched at you if you err.

Oh, also the first post of each page is nekkid. Just is.

What, I managed to break all the rules in my first two posts? I feel like such a rebel. Awesome! But flaming bikes would make me sad, because then I wouldn't get to ride them. I love my bicycles. I'm a bike commuter in the Twin Cities, even in winter.

Done with season two of American Horror Story. It was pretty good, but I thought season one was a lot better, with a more cohesive understanding on where it wanted to go.

But in fairness, that's easier to do with a haunted house then an asylum.

Still a magnificent show.

Hopeful for season three. :-)

I will give you a favorite if you post without saying your name at the bottom. Two, if I could.

I can probably guarantee TL, if that counts. Just mention Tae Kwon Do and Sweet Tea, and possibly delicious biscuits or other southern stuff, and he is on board.

Captain Yesterday is a bit tougher. You need to mention a comedy, usually something satirical. I'd go with Always Sunny.

Freehold is easy. Watch this. Watch me earn a favorite as you wait. Watch. "Breasts are nice and Joss Whedon is overrated."

...somehow I went off topic quite fast. The point is you know we can read your name at the top, automatically, right? This is meant to be read in a friendly tone. I know contextually it may seem otherwise. Welcome.

"I drink sweet tea while watching Always Sunny in Philadelphia because it is a better show than that overrated Buffy."

Boom. Three favorites. Watch. I defy them not to. If they don't it's only to prove they can resist my power.

It's all about the roleplay, behavior of the PCs, and interplay between players. In most cases, it's the personality and style of the player that wins, not the number on the paper. Very much what Hmm said.

In my Crimson Throne game, I'm reaching the point of throwing "too much good stuff" at the cleric of Shelyn. She has personally:

  • *Almost* redeemed a vampire, only to be thwarted when the scumbag Cheliaxian noble decided to take some petty revenge on him by stealing his surgical tools,
  • Single-handedly negotiated the party through Arkona Manor, resulting in a series of events so positive the AP didn't even consider them possible,
  • thrown away her life to save an NPC the rest of the party didn't particularly care for.
  • It's reached the point that, "Your goddess approves, +1 Sacred bonus to all rolls for the day" just doesn't cut it any more.

She'll be receiving... er... a "wee bit" of a present from the Arkonas come the start of Book 6.

And if the other players scream bloody murder, I'll just suggest that if THEY started single-handedly saving entire houses, tribes, and whatnot, THEY might get 100,000+ g.p. items dropped in their laps, too...

But yeah, as a GM, I find that some players go above, beyond, and then some to immerse themselves in the world and be a positive force (the cleric of Shelyn). Some immerse themselves, and go above and beyond to be negative (the aforementioned Cheliaxian noble). As a GM, my only job is to have the universe respond to the PCs accordingly.

The cleric of Shelyn has accumulated so much "good karma" I'm having trouble figuring out what I can do to reconcile it without breaking the game.

The Cheliaxian noble has accumulated so much "bad karma" that I'm having quite a bit of fun dismantling her house one noble at a time.

But as long as all my players are having fun, feeling immersed, and feel that the universe is behaving in predictable ways, I figure I'm doing OK.

the man made terminator 2(although there are rumors he stole the entire franchise from the woman who sued the wachowskis successfully) and aliens. I can forgive him a few bad movies.

That said he is planning to make battle angel alita/gundream/gunnm(note:gunnm IS NOT Gundam, but a popular abbreviation of gun dream) into a movie. If he fails at this I will be wroth, as yukito kishiro's works are heavenly, and I am a big fan of both battle angel alita and last order.

No, it isn't. I read/played City of Thieves, one of the Fighting Fantasy series of Choose Your Own Adventure gamebooks. The main villain is called Zanbar Bone, and he has a tower.
