Nice!
Pounds to zlotys exchanged. House paid for four months. Tomorrow a technician is supposed to bring me a new modem capable of supporting 60 Mb/s connection that will start tomorrow. Old modem, as fine as it was for the last seven days isn't up to the task. The new one will also have a Wi-Fi so I will be able to use tablet. Will I be able to surf internet in toilet? We'll see...
I also bought a few pounds of books - four parts of Marcus Dido Falco series, one Polish fantasy or maybe sf, I am not sure, and The Crippled God... I wanted to buy Forge Of Darkness but it wasn't in the stock at the moment. I will buy it later.
The first five books were on sale for 9 zloty, 10 for the last one. Real bargain when it comes to books... Crippled God costed 59 zloty, but at least it is cheaper and bigger edition, instead of the older (and nicer one) where it is split in two books, each costing probably around 49-59 in itself...

Gnolls!
For some reason, I was expecting gnoll scouts... little pre-teen gnolls in uniforms and merit badges pulling a wagon door-to-door selling gnoll scout cookies for their troop.
I started to laugh reading first two pages... Which were listing of dramatis personae with *giggles* descriptions.
The bad part of the day is headache...
Off to shop to geth some potatoes and maybe something that I could add to the pork I bought.

No matter how much I try to expunge it, I fear this image instead of the original is permanently etched in my brain. You have shifted from CN to CE.
Other bad part of the day is abrasion that I got on thigh from new trousers. They will fit just fine with longjohns, but now they are a bit too loose and the seam tenderized inner part of my thigh.

For LordSynosFF VII, A Cappella, and cats? This is just full of win. :DSmooth McGroove is probably one of my favorite things on YouTube. This is actually the fourth FFVII song he's done - he's also done the battle theme, the victory theme, and J-E-N-O-V-A.
Might just say spoiler warning for FF VII though, it is the ** spoiler omitted ** after all.As old as the game is, I don't really think there's many people around who haven't already been spoiled ;)

For what it's worth we have a meat shield in our tabletop group who gets no love from the dice either. Then one night he gets 3 consecutive 20's with his great pick for X4 damage!!

New modem installed. 60 Mb/s connection available...
No visible change but it was only one zloty more. Not counting extra 40 zloty for installation.
Maybe I finally should download and install both Witchers?
And the tablet is now connected to internet. I probably shouldn't leave it with wi-fi on permanently, though, because it eats a lot of power comparing to offline mode.
GURPS this weekend got cancelled. Pondering when should I pitch my campaign idea at them.
