Game Stuff:
So, the game borrows a lot from World of Darkness, with the big difference being that the GM wanted a group of diverse entities to be able to adventure together, while the WoD power-sets weren't really balanced with that in mind. He ended up re-creating the lot, drawing on the original a bunch, but also adding his own flavour. There's five types made, the Shepherd (Hunter equivalent, my character), the Werewolf (self explanatory), the Vampire (same), the Dead Walker (mix of Orpheus and Promethean), and the True Mage (Mage, will refer to as TM). As in the original material, the most human like, the Shepherd, is the weakest aggressively, but most skill based, while the middle three are more combat orientated. The TM is, of course, completely overpowered in every possible way. Bloody Mages.

The way TM's work is, as mentioned, that they have figured something out about the nature of the world around them. Something fundamental, like gravity, electricity, physics, something that underlies the nature of reality itself. Using this awareness, that no one else possesses, they can shape reality, to conform with their "truth". No matter what their truth relates to, they can shape any aspect of reality. This is measured in spheres, Life, Mind, Forces, and Matter.

If a non mage sees the TM work their magic, the seed of Jealousy can be planted. These people become obsessed with the TM, and figuring out what their secret is. They are not aware that they are TM's, or that they possess a secret, but they do realise they can change reality in some way, and become possessed by the need to discover how, by any means necessary.

As long as the TM is the only one to possess their "truth", their secret, as it is referred to in game, their powers work. If they share their secret with others, they lose their powers. If only one person knows the secret, the TM powers return to that person. That person need not be the original TM. The benefit of revealing their secret is that, being something fundamentally part of the world, the increased understanding the secret brings usually advances the wealth of knowledge of humanity in some way. As such, there are forces in the world that seek out TM's, to try and "encourage" them to reveal their secret.

Nikola Tesla's history is not clear, though his secret was that of electricity. We have learned that he was a TM, as revealed to us by the organisation trying to encourage our own TM to reveal his secret. He lived far longer than his physical age would suggest. Whether the organisation forced him to reveal his secret, or he chose to do so willingly, is unknown.

WOOOOOO HUNTER GREATEST AND MOST UNFAIRLY MALIGNED SETTING SINCE CHANGELING THE LOST WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Speaking of, I've been pricing a specific pair of clippers for grooming purposes. It's a little over a hundred bucks, but the t-outliner I have currently isn't really made for heads and I'm starting to really need a regular trimming instead of constant shaving to give my scalp a bit of a break.
Diane got me a Whal (sp?) beard trimmer for Father's day. It has been awesome, and I think it was pretty economical. Any decent screen electric shaver might work well.
Screen electric razors don't work very well for black men. There's a funky line out there put out by Andis initially and copied by many others that uses a gold-tone screen to combat razor bumps in addition to ingrown hairs supposedly, but they do nothing for me in the slightest- hair is too thick. I did find ONE exception to the rule though, which is interestingly enough from Germany, put out by Braun. It's this weird little double a battery powered wet/dry razor with a funky-shaped screen(hexagonal instead of circular) with holes large enough to let in my thick hairs when first trimmed by my plug-in outliner. I use that on rare occasion when my skin is VERY sensitive before I break out the drop-razor/butterfly razor, but even that one is starting to show it's age- I think I need a new razor for it as I've had it for several years- it more "polishes" my hairs instead of cutting them, which still makes them easier to pick up by the handle razor. Wahl is an okay company overall, and they occasionally have a rechargable razor with multiple heads that's good, but the problem with rechargables I find is that they get weaker as the years go on- I need a good, wall plug-in electric razor for the sheer power it offers for my nubian/kushite/whatever hair. I'm looking at the andis fade master- sworn upon by black barbers for years, and used in concert with an outliner or edger.

Cool. I have had good luck with Braun and Remington screen shavers, but I haven't had to shave daily since my last refinery outage in Tacoma.

Sure does! Another convert!

FHDM and I will usually split a 10 piece white meat order, split between soy-garlic and spicy. (He likes the spicy, I like the soy-garlic.) If you're with friends, splitting a larger order is a good value. The appetizers are all delicious. I am partial to the zucchini fries.

I love the fact that we both replied to that post within 6 minutes.

When at Bonchon, I also recommend you give your food time to cool. It basically goes from the deep fryer to your plate, and will sear the flesh off of your mouth. And if that happens, how will you be able to taste the deliciousness?

We are going to take it to go along with some soju(Haven't had that in years)Any particular side you can recommend

I don't know if they have improved their quality control now, but back in the day it was a total crap shoot. It might have anything from barbiturates to formaldehyde.

Morning one and all. Hope everyone has a good day today, and is doing well in general. The overcloud has returned to us, sheltering us from the terrible heat of the sky fire. I hope it goes well, and I am sorry for the potential lack of party. I hope people respond and are there.
