Granted, I paid about the full price of one of them for all 5. So... I saved money, right?

I should probably close out the Steam Store page, huh?

My computer games on GOG account. Thanks to LordSynos who was mighty helpful today.

That might be a bit of karma at work actually.

Recently a friend gamer, designer and publisher wrote on his facebook that his daughter hearing problems deepen and that she needs surgery quickly - and that might cost a few thousands he doesn't have at the moment. I offered to lend him some money when I return to Poland in August/early September. He thanked me saying it would be too late probably, but other friends came with similar offers of lending some money/pulling some strings to get this done fast enough. Hopefully the surgery will fix the problem.

Positive waves to your friend man.

Drejk, may good fortune rain upon your friend.

Good luck to your friend and his daughter, Drejk.

On a more personal note: still pending? But I wanted my pdfs before tomorrow's Midsummer celebrations... WAAAAAUGH!

The BBC seems to have a way of casting roles with actors that look really familiar, but can't seem to be placed without a visit to the show's IMDB page. For example, I've been watching 'Luther' on Netflix, and it took me a couple episodes to figure out that Luther's wife was played by the actress who plays Ellaria Sand on 'Game of Thrones,' and, a bit more obscure, the actress who plays his boss was Lady Jessica in the 2000 'Dune' miniseries.

Good morning FaWtL'ers, one and all. Hope ye're all well and have a good Friday. :) Thank the RNG, the weekend is here at feckin' last. Well, practically here.

The weather is cloudy but dry. The overcloud has spared us a watery doom, in its glorious wisdom. All hail the overcloud!

Good luck to your friend, and his daughter. They will be in my prayers. It is good for the spirit to see people come together and help one another when the need arises.

You mean Robot Wars was more than just the most awesome TV show ever?

Ah, the Steam summer sale. Interesting mechanic this year. Team Pink, ftw! I miss the days of achievements in games being the reward system, as opposed to buying rewards, but commerce is as commerce does.

Yeah, I haven't actually bought any Steam games ever. However thanks to the Steam sales - a friend keeps gifting some to me. :D

A fun game last night, looking forward to next week. I will try and post a mini story later, but busy now. Maybe I should start one of these campaign journal things I see sometimes. Decisions, decisions....

Yep, my game last night included a player persuading the GM that to work out the cost of an item with 20% discount was divide by 10 multiply by 7....

Although the GM did get her own back, when one player came up with a scheme to hire 2 escorts (a red-head & a midget) just in case bodies were needed after a kidnapping. So the GM made him very uncomfortable with RPing them

:P

Tomorrow morning I am going to work for six hours. It won't be overtime, though - instead I will get free Wednesday. We have to prepare shipment tomorrow.

Morning, all! I hope you are having a great day!

Where is everybody?

I hope I didn't scare them away.

Have I mentioned how glad I am I'm going on a leave from retail land soon? Because I'm really glad I'm going on a leave from retail land soon.

Drejk- Call in sick with apathyitis!

Scintillae, I hope your departure goes smoothly.

Can't do, there is an important shipment to be prepared tomorrow...

Off to bed...

So glad it's Friday.

Seems when my folks switched the room the router was in, they inadvertently made my room a dead zone. Or at least, an unreliable-connection zone.

Yeck.

This will be the first weekend in I-don't-know-how-long that I don't have somewhere to be and a million things to do.

I have a few social visits (first and foremost Bonchon with a certain studly Whedon-hater) and a little work around the house, but that's it, and it's glorious.

Drejk, sleep well!

I hope they fix it soon so your net stabilizes.

Sounds like a great weekend! Any gaming that will happen?

Alas, no. I don't have a regular group. I have to work on that sometime.

I'm sorry. I hope you find a group soon.

Going? Woodraven, it is WAYYYYY too late for Going.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Woodraven, there is only one solution to this problem.

You must perform the Dance of Three Llamas while chanting to Cthulhu!

There. That should take you all the way to insane :D

WHEW. Caught up on four sessions' worth of Kingmaker journal.

Now just have to do the same for Runelords, and get the AoW journal started soonish.

What will your campaign be after that?

Sharoth wrote:

This insane isn't the fun kind. Probably closer to full aggressive snap

MagusJanus wrote:

Kingmaker's still going. We're only in Chapter 4. I'm GMing that one. Here's the journal - warning, spoilers!

Runelords is one I'm a player in, it's in chapter 2 but on hiatus.

We just started Age of Worms, I'm also a player, and we're only two sessions in.

We'll be doing Savage Tide once Kingmaker is done, but that's a ways down the road.
