Incidentally, Morrison's first greatest sin was Final Crisis and it's cosmic karaoke machine ending. For that alone, the bastard should be flayed alive and have his rotting carcass strung up as a warning to all other comic book writers whose ego outstrips their talent.
I always thought Morrison was best on his creator-owned and Vertigo stuff.
WE3 is one of my favorite stories ever.

But you never see videos about cats joyously welcoming their owners home.
pebbles used to love me coming home. My then girlfriend visiting(now wife), not so much. She was protective of me, and did NOT like other women anywhere near me. But she would roll over for belly rubs and to play with my feet all the time.

To conclude my micro-blitz, here are some new monsters.
The neural crab was especially fun to develop.

Love the insurance companies "We'll pay for any damages i.e. , but not the actual broken pipe."

Um, so they're OK with the broken pipe causing more damage? That's silly.

A question for you folks who rent, let's say you had to take 5 minute showers because the water would not stay warm longer. This problem started on Sat. and I have a plumber coming out on wed. would you be satisfied if I knocked say $250 off you rent for the month. Rent is 1440/mo.
sure.

I wish I knew Midgard.
I am playing a viking Paladin in Midgard.
so far the best moment was when we were escaping from an ancient fortress buried in ancient evil living ice due to a curse of the evil cold god. Said fortress was full of undead, and we were escaping out a window. Being unspeakably brave, my paladin was the last to evacuate - only the ice grew again and I was stuck, the ice thickening about my torso. Just then I saw some undead coming into the room to eat my poor toes through the ice. the rest of the party started hacking at the ice to free me. We'd been in the tipping over, ice covered tower for a while, and were all wearing spikes on our shoes to assist in acrobatics checks to not fall. So I declared smite on the creature trying to eat my feet, and proceeded to kick him to death with my holy crampons.

I don't care how much free time I have now, I am not going back through the past 1300 posts I missed.
Hope all is well with my FaWtL brother and sisters. Not so good for me,
I am back on the job market again. It was a little over a year that I lost my job the first time. I thought I was fortunate that I was able to get back to work again in one month. Unfortunately, stability has not come with the new work.
I won't complain too much, I know other posters have suffered/suffering through unemployment much longer than I.
I wish everyone who is searching the best of luck in 2014.
This time around I have found some improved techniques for running a job search using evernote and job search boards. PM me if you want to know more. Having 5 jobs in 2 years after working for 3 companies in 22 years has taught me a little about successfully looking for a job.

At the end, before I was laid off, I was working about 70 hours/week since January. That left precious little time for anything else, hence the relative silence from me the past few months.
So now I can actually participate in Hero Lab's encounter builder beta test.
Also, Caladrel and Res can re-find their voices in CH's excellent PBPs.
Who knows, maybe I'll have time to restart my Souls for a Devil PBP. It has mythic potential.

Puppy is here, and she's adorable.
Gretchen is a purebred German Shorthair Pointer. (She's liver colored instead of black, which apparently means the bloodline is American instead of from Germany.)
She's already chasing our lab mix and insisting on his attention. He got bored with her and started watching the birds, and she decided to pounce on his head.

Good to have you back. Sad to hear about the bad luck with work. I hope you're able to find work again soon.

Sounds about like ours. Ace and Brutus are suddenly best friends and are chasing and running and playfighting all over the yard, with Bridgette and Ranger struggling to keep up when they take off.
Hunter's still super-aggressive and territorial though, we have to put both him and Ace on leashes whenever we take Hunter out back, or just have him do his business in the front yard instead. This'll have to be the way it is until either they cool off or Ace gets housetrained enough that we don't have to leave him outside all the time.

In other news, I got a call from the people building our new house. They wanted to set dates for a walk through and a closing. Unless we find major problems in the walk through, closing should be before the end of the month. Huzzah!
The lady on the phone also mentioned that the house now had a walkway up to the house and the beginnings of a driveway. So, after work, I drove by and took a picture! I say again, Huzzah!
