Our usual game is a 3.5/PF hybrid so we have a lot of 3.5 options (with a bit of tweaking to bring them up to PF standard, if necessary) available to us.

But.....but.....you're doing a Homebrew and having fun! Something's wrong! ;)

I pray to have that level of fun one day.

Naturally, while naked!!

Technically it's ROTRL but it's been tweaked a bit to fit our setting.

Thistletop is fun when you have climb speeds and grenades =)

Sounds very steam punky.

Say what? Somebody was smoking some good s$** when they thought that would be cool.

Really? Personally I always liked Dracula & Carmilla, where it was implied they were Lamia-style vampires than infected.
Do you need to go on the top of The List?!?

I liked it too. But I imagine I'm at the top of your list for possession and distribution of winter.

And now, to shower....

Not much creativity today. Some minor editing and such... I need to prepare for work soon.

Sad to see Shirley Temple go, but she's had a long, full life! Including, let's see, she was an ambassador to how many countries?!?

There are just some people/personalities that when they go, it feels like the end of an(other) Era. :(

There will be much playing of Shirley Temple DVD's tonight I'm thinking! :)

Oh you are most assuredly on the top of THAT list! :/

It Lousy-anna fer pete's sake. Winter should be a distant, vague and nearly forgotten memory by now!

On the other hand, as long as the vampires don't f#@$%^g sparkle, I'm open to interpretation. :)

Off to work.

Alcohol already? Sounds like a fun group!

Two PCs with climb speeds and ability to create web ropes

100GP worth of explosives

A witch with Slumber

A warpriest with a returning dagger

A crusader with 20 STR and a Greatsword

An arcane archer magus who crits about three times in a row

Bridges are for predictable parties, we went in from the side

We were level 3 by the way (well, three of us were, my character was level 2 with a level adjustment +1).

Tome Of Battle crusader?

Yep

Sadly, eras end. Soon, there won't be much left of that era.

Silver Crusade

Shirley lived about 40 minutes from me, apparently she was very humble. This morning on the news she was quoted as comparing herself to Rin Tin Tin.

It's been a wild ride but yeah it's a blast. This is our poor GM's first campaign, so he's still getting a bit used to winging it.

I recall those days. Like all of us, he just needs time and experience.

Yup. And those of us more experienced have offered our suggestions and aid and are trying to be helpful and not too rules-lawyery with our ideas and plans and recommendations.

It's a bit of a rocky road but we're making fun out of it so everyone thus far wins =)

And frankly it's not like he's not doing us a turn in return, his goblins got several good shots in on my Crusader and knocked her down to under half health. If it weren't for her healing maneuvers/stance and the Warpriest burning some Fervor on her, she'd probably have gotten the first KO of the campaign, if maybe not actually died.

Ah, Tome of Battle, how I miss you.

hm, still no Biathlon medal for Germany, seems like a national desaster is in the making

at least the luge athlets deliver, gold for men and women, but the women did only colect gold and ailvr, bronze went (disapoitingly) to the USA

at the monent the first ever female ski jumping olympic competion ever !

a german women is in the lead after first round - Carina Vogt, a superstar in the making

of course biathlon, luge and ski jumping athlets are realy big stars in germany, much bigger than, say, ice hockey or basketball professional player

above post is 100% irony free and true

Hessia has 6 prfessional soccer teams, two pro basketball and ice hockey teams, a worldcup cycle race, one of germanys biggest marathons, chase corperate challenge, the offical german iron man

but the annual sport competion with the biggest audiance is - worldcup ski jumping in Willingen

I'm fine with that. I rather like the Winter Games because we see the Northern Europeans kicking butt. Now if they'd only add a skijoring event!

Curling is AWESOME!

Well. That was tedious.

One of these days I'm going to learn to not get involved in trollbait threads.

I'll be sure to send more snow your way when you're a yeti, you may yet appreciate it.

First time I saw curling, was in the last Winter Olympics. My green eyes stayed glued on the television for four eyes. Ran out of Visine I did!

Back from work. I stayed for two hours of overtime. *yawn*

Okay, playtesting of items to be updated to Pathfinder... here's a list of the rejects:

Golem Tank- Under the Pathfinder conversion rules, this would be a CR of 19. In actual testing, it's a CR of 30. Under 3.5, it was a CR of 20. The reason for the upgrade? It uses a lot of heavily-incorporated firearms, which were not touch weapons under 3.5 rules but are under Pathfinder rules.

One of the players sarcastically commented that the tank could force Elminster to flee in abject terror.

Maginuke- The lack of Epic-level spells make this impossible to convert. Basically, this was an arrow enchanted to unleash Vengeful Gaze of God upon impact.

Reckless Dweomer- I don't feel like going through the nightmare of converting the homebrew Wild Mage to Pathfinder.

Wild Mage- See above.

Have them use siege weapon rules. The cannon golem does.

That works for the main cannon, but the other guns are modified forms of handheld firearms. It's basically a mobile cannon with a lot of little guns glued onto it to deal with anyone who gets close.

Curling is indeed awesome.

...although not as awesome as the final of the men's cross country skiing sprint was. CRAZY!

Incidentally, 15:00 today sees my home town's only contribution to the games - a speed skater called David Andersson who's aiming for a top 25 position (so probably not going to get a medal).

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Wednesday? Maybe. Can't say yet. Weather-wise it's gonna be pretty decent - sunny and a high in the 50s. Work-wise? That's where the happy potential gets unclear. I may or may not have to sit through a scheduling meeting.

And morning.

Scarab Sages

Tomorrow, we're supposed to have a high in the 60s, with more sun. By Friday, and for the next few days after that, the forecast is calling for highs in the 70s and sunshine.

So awesome!

Scarab Sages

And WTF?!? No NCIS last night! No Supernatural! No Agents of Shield!!!

I say again, WTF?!?
