The kids and wife all went to bed somewhat early last night, so I got to watch my Supernatural episode in peace. Then I was flipping through channels and found the new Evil Dead playing. It was OK, I guess. Not as funny as the original, and they seemed to go more for shock-torture porn-gore instead.

Meh, if he's only gonna be playing fiddle to Barry Allen, then f&%@ it. I mean, don't get me wrong, I like Barry. But Wally was my Flash. And I guess listening to Barry Boys whine and b!@*@ for over 20 years about "Wally Worst" and how they should bring Barry back, and then they let SuperTool Grant Morrison do it in a lame way with the mega karaoke machine storyline....
It bugs me.
So my job contract got extended by another month.
Part of me is overjoyed because I'm getting some more money.
Another part of me is worried about time, since I need that to study and write.
Meal before going to work.
Drive to work was significantly better than drive home. 20-minute drive became 40-min, and that only really because I was driving at 25-30 instead of the normal 40 speed limit.
Also learned that in low gear my car starts shaking like Crowley's Bentley if it gets up to 35. In normal gear it does the same thing around 70-75. If nothing else, nobody ever has to worry about me speeding on the highways.

Beware of Fawtl, it can be highly addictive. Luckily I am just a casual user you know a little on the weekends maybe at party.

The Scandinavia and the World one is fairly spot on in terms of the stereotypes (although the Finnish stereotype could just as well be for rural Swedes as well).
The first one... eh. At least in Swedish we certainly say pojkvän/flickvän (boyfriend/girlfriend) if we're talking about the person. "Älskling" is for when we're speaking to our romantic partner. As in: "Could you pass the butter, älskling?" Or: "Yes, älskling, those shoes look great. Just like the ten other pairs you've tried on."

The thing is evil dead was supposed to be a scary movie that ended up being cheesy. I didn't mind seeing it as it was originally intended.
Not to mention that article said the new Flash creative team is drawing from guys working on Green Lantern Corps. Sorry, but there's a reason I have up on all things Green Lantern.

Back from the second first day in new job this week.
Less stressful, more boring.
I consider taking overtime tomorrow and day after tomorrow - I would be sitting at work from 4 pm to 4 am but I would at least balance the loss of Tuesday to get as much as I got for last week.
I don't know if I would survive that.
Off to bed for now.
