Actually, ghost of Scrooge's partner (whose name eludes me at the moment) from A Christmas Carol could be spirit of dead banker/accountant...

Naked spirits?

Only if they are sexy...

Ok, slaver devil for checking as possible submission...

What else...

Jacob Marley.

And Robert, if you're going the Muppets version.

Meh, mobile internet box is acting strange - like if it had problems with battery/charging...

Statler and Waldorf in that role were great.

How about all of that rolled into a pirate-shaped insurance devil?

There is only a limited amount of concentrated evil before it becomes blasphemous mind-shattering abomination.

Night everyone...

Laterz.

As much as I would love to throw my hat into the ring for Superstar, January is the busiest time of year for my job, we do a ton of overtime, and I can't guarantee I'd have the free time to do the later rounds justice if I did participate. So I'll just be dropping my item into loot for my players to find, along with Superstar entries from years past if I feel like going and digging around in them again, and contend myself with voting like a madman once again.

OK, so I made the arm-knit infinity scarf (cowl) from the video linked above....

This thing is gorgeous. It's also about twelve feet long, four feet wide (when stretched - it naturally gathers much tighter), and my sister, for whom it is intended, is five foot nothing. It will wrap around her four times, minimum.

I'm rethinking this, though she may be amused and pleased enough to wear it. Or keep it in the car in case of a snow emergency for use as a blanket.

Your sister is a time lord? o.O

It would not surprise me. Are there evil time lords?

So that must be my next PC, a evil timelord (wizard) that wears a black loose weave scarf (and that's all) :P

What's a time lord? And is it time lord or timelord?

Woohoo! Picking up my youngest son from the airport on Wednesday. He will be home for a month from school.

My parents drive into town on Thursday.

There will be much game playing this holiday season!

Too bad I have to work Saturday and Sunday >:$

At least by working Sunday, I'll have all Christmas Eve and Day off.

Treppa wrote:

Humanoid aliens with time-travel tech. I believe the proper spelling is Time Lord. And yes there are evil ones.

Would my bot hate me forever if I used FAWTL to test it?

Time Lords and naked spirits? Oh my...

The Master, Rastilan, The Watcher (?), yep, there are certainly a few.

And the first Doctor allegedly had his moments.

I've only seen parts of the first two seasons of New Who and a bunch of last-5-minutes of Tom Baker episodes that were on before Monty Python (...or was it before the Young Ones?) so I can only go on hearsay.

That feeling where you discover a series of books and can't get the final part - I has it! (The feeling. Not the book.) :(

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Wednesday! I hope you all have a lovely day.

So I spent most of yesterday in a big meeting at one of BP's office complexes yesterday. It was a mostly wasted day.

Good lunch though. Chicken and beef fajitas. Most everyone steered clear of the beef, except me. It was delicious - very tender and with a nice peppery taste.

And last night (or early this morning) I got to spend a bit of time with a very tiny princess sleeping on my chest. That was actually nice.

But, that's going to have to be it for me for now. I've got a lot to do between now and Christmas Eve, and the last two days have been mostly wasted in meetings.

Have a good one!

I think it's spelled Rassilon.

And also The Mad Monk, The Rani, and The Valeyard. And likely many many more I don't know of because my knowledge of Old Who is pretty limited.

The feeling when you found interesting looking book but its far into a series and you can't find the first book to start the series properly...

What series? And do you have an e-reader? (Kindle, etc.)

Maybe it would be better as an undead than a golem.

Shouldn't it be an Inevitable?
Nah. Inevitables are more of field agents chasing offenders against the laws of men and gods.

Well death and taxes are inevitable. ;)

Orthos wrote:

Nothing particular at the moment - it's just that I sometimes find promising book on library shelf, second or third...

Nope. Not anytime soon. Too much debts to pay to let myself buy such luxury. And a laptop would have higher priority anyway. :/

There was death-enforcing inevitable but I don't think there was tax-enforcing inevitable... Would it be Cheliaxian enough?

Tax inevitable named El'ness.

I'm kidding. I think Limey was playing off the famous Ben Franklin quote, "...in this world nothing can be said to be certain but death and taxes.".

I like the idea of a slavery devil of some kind. Would they be foot soldier devils who take slaves or manipulators who promote slavery on the prime material?

The Neverwinter Nights server Ebon and I play on actually has tax-related Inevitables (whose name I forget) as the Lesser Planar Ally summon for Lawful Neutral characters. Regular Planar Ally gets Kolyarut I think, Greater Planar Ally gets a Zelekhut, and Gate gets a Marut.

Actually I thought of both. Not that I intend to promote multiplication of fiendish ranks beyond reason...

BTW: I wonder how could I push qlippoth, kyton or a rakshasa into Cheliaxian issue of Wayfinder...

I believe you may be needed over there as it is quickly turned into a flamewar.

So many answers to pick...

Answer A:
I am a dragon, not a troll!

Answer B:
It wasn't me! (this time)

Answer C:
"We didn't start the fire..."

Answer D:
They manage fine without my goading.

Choices, choices...

Do you also have that moments when you think of multiple comments and like them all and have hard time deciding which you should use?
