Off to see the second hobbit movie today or tomorrow. It comes down to the tips.

Got a call from a company I applied yesterday. Job interview on Monday, half past one.

My first job interview in English.

Not that I am a bit nervous.

Good luck!

Don't think they'll let you in dressed like that.

Naked pigeon?

I'm cutting back on caffeine. This is my 5-minute awake time for today.

Wow. Really?

Wouldn't he know? Being that he's, like, the BOSS and all?
Meaning he's supposed to have a clue what's going on with the workers he's managing?

Your being kind. I'm thinking of a few terms less endearing than 'idiot'.
;)

On the plus side, congrats! Your almost there! :)

and Sabine is telling him for month now to look for a temp replacement. he started two weeks ago

Well my Youngest son became an Eagle Scout last night. His ceremony along with 3 other kids should be next month some time. My oldest has slipped behind as School work is just torture right now but he will most likely catch up in March.

Awesome!

He could not accept the thought of replacing Sabine, even for a moment?

I'd totally let my son translate for you -- his translations from "languages he doesn't understand" to "peculiar English" are side-splitting.

But I'm assuming you actually WANT the job, so I won't make the offer...

I'm staying very busy down here. Dad's seeing one of the home health providers, and Dorian is volunteering at a charity function. It's tough for me to see my Dad's health and capability go steadily downhill, but my sister has been dealing with this every day for years. Her patience is truly saintly. Dad can be kind of "difficult" sometimes.

Take care!

Not a good thing.

You don't want to see me naked or nekkid. Do you, punk!

Naked pigeon might resemble naked turkey too much... Not the sight I wish to see again. Maybe except the kitchen.

Naked or nekkid
The answer is simple: no
Bad bird! Naughty bird!

Things to do in future: design catopus PC race - an intelligent fur-covered octopus with cat-like eyes and a bushy tail.

It has nothing to do with Cerulean Seas but a lots of with a cute picture of octopus I saw today on FB.

But for now I will try to catch some sleep.

Or even two.

I have decided....from now on anything starting at Dallas and up is considered the North!
why is this? I keep hearing people in your part of the world insulting Dallas often.

(a) It is Dallas - no further explanation should really be needed. At least, that's what I've been told for years.....

(b) It's further north than Houston.

oh come now. Let him use the mug, he's a guest. If he breaks it, *then* you can eat him personally.

It's mine! It was a present! My present! My own...MY PRECIOUS!!!!

I slept til noon to cover the lack of sleep earlier when father was waking up every hour or so - I could finally get some mostly uninterrupted sleep after he went to work.

And I'm not sure how it happened, but my boy has been insisting that his Yetta (maternal grandmother) change all his poop diapers! Damn I love that kid.

Scarab Sages

Almost makes it worth it for him to be having trouble pooping on the potty.

Scarab Sages

Did I mention that my girls might be coming home today?

Scarab Sages

They were originally supposed to come home yesterday, but that was delayed.

Scarab Sages

And my in laws - once again proving they are clueless jacknuts on occasion. I turned on the TV this morning, and the bluray was still playing the Thomas Halloween special I had put in yesterday. Apparently, they just turned off the TV yesterday, but not the disc player. It just keep playing on a loop.

Scarab Sages

But at least they're also marginally useful.

Was in my FLGS yesterday, picking up my comics. Just for s~#$s and giggles, I picked up a pack of Legends of Golarion minis - the last one they had. Got a Gorilla King mini. Huzzah!

Scarab Sages

All right folks. I've got plenty to do today. Best get to it. See y'all in the funny papers.
