I've only been asking her to do that for the last two or three weeks.

Nekkid requests to the wife! The best kind!
Going through emails. I try not I keep anything older than two weeks in my Inbox or Sent Items. Everything older than that gets moved to an appropriate folder.
And I seem to finally be getting over my cold!
crosses fingers
Which is awesome, considering I'll soon have tiny new baby in the house. Wouldn't want her to be adversely affected by bad weather, would we FHDM?!?

Charlie seems to be doing better as well. Of course, not before he seems to have passed it on to his cousin and aunt.
And last night the dude fell out his bed. Still not sure how he managed that one.
All right folks. Done for now. Got plenty of s@~% to do. Have a good one.

My office is not frigid! They finally turned the office heat on! Huzzah!!
Thus begins two of the four months out of the entire year in which I may not have to use my space heater. The other two being July and August, and even then there were a few days this year where the super AC in my office required me to turn the heat on anyway.
Likewise I imagine as it continues to get colder the overall office heater may not be up to the task. Especially if it gets cold enough to snow.
Though given the weather this year I imagine it's less "If" and more "When".
Christmas shopping done. Whee!
Considering what an annoying sound it is, I'm glad they don't test the air raid/dangerous stuff in the air/general warning siren once a month like they did when I was a kid.
Once every third month is quite enough. (I do kinda miss the almost weekly sight of practising jet fighters, though. The Saab 37 Viggen was a cool-looking plane.)
Alright, that's enough forums for me. Work to do. Later FAWTLfolk.

At one of my previous places of employment, the area I worked in was extremely cold, and the QA area was usually over 80 degrees, and we were on the same floor. I wouldn't have been surprised if it started raining where the temperature extremes met.
Going back to work after a 4 day break is made easier when you do not hate your job.
I am in no way saying I love my job.
Looks like today will be our last day in the 60's as a cold snap is coming in. Hi 40's for hi's and mid 20's for lows.
Gotta wrap those pipes and cover some plants tonight after work.
*grumble-grumble* Bank paperwork *grumble-grumble* waiting for phone *grumble-grumble*
*grumble-grumble* Still waiting for call from bank... *grumble-grumble*
Morning, all. What did I miss?
This week is going to be crazy. I have rehearsals Monday Wednesday and Friday for the big concert on Saturday and John's parents are coming Thursday I advance of his sister's baby shower on Sunday. Plus work.
Mrgh.

New cars rolling out of the SAAB factory. WOOT!
I have clip-on sunglasses. The sun shall tyrannize me no more. Maybe I should learn echolocation.
BluePigeon wrote: I have clip-on sunglasses. The sun shall tyrannize me no more. Know that feeling. One of these days I might bother getting those shade-changing glasses or just prescription sunglasses, but today is not that day.
I got sun-glasses made to my prescription as a graduation present. Best gift I've ever gotten.

BlueBat doesn't quite roll off the tongue as well.
Maybe BlueChiropteran?

Dammit, its time to renew my browncoat hunting license....

I have embraced the false! My tree is a plastic abomination!
But I also picked up one of those creepy wire frame deer with the lights all over it. It moves!!!
Have I mentioned I've never decorated for Christmas since before moving to Philadelphia. Mainly because we always travelled back to New Orleans.
But this year...this year I even have icicle lights!!!
I do not yet have an angel for the top of my abomination, however. The ones they had at Wal-Mart had fiber-optic lights and s!$%. Didn't like them.
So the wife is going to check with her mom and see if her Hallmark store has one. They're arriving on Sunday for a week long, welcome new baby visit.
And I still have not done any Christmas shopping.
My wife laughed at both the tree and my creepy little light deer. We'll see who has the last laugh when the boy tells me how awesome I am.....
I should probably be ordering gifts and stuff.
