Well... that sure don't paint an attractive picture

Yeah, that image is going to stick with me for awhile as a top-of-the-page post.

I'm a little worried about going out on the roads today. Most are cleared of snow, but at -22F, we seem to have an epidemic of black ice.

Black Ice Suuuuuuuuuuuuuucks.

In other bad news, I has a sad, no Kingmaker tonight. Has to be postponed to Saturday because two players are unavailable tonight due to family stuff.

Be careful!

We might go see the live RiffTrax showing of "Santa Claus versus the Martians" this evening. It depends on how my daughter feels when she gets home from school.

Know that feeling. One of these days I might bother getting those shade-changing glasses or just prescription sunglasses, but today is not that day.

I have Transitions lenses. I do not recommend them.

Did you know they don't work in the car? It's true; the windshield glass blocks UV rays, and those are what triggers the lenses. I miss my clip-ons.

Prescription sunglasses may be the best bet.

I have clipons that I use now, they're cheaper and they work just fine.

OK,
My family is up in Oklahoma, where they are currently experiencing an 'Ice Event', expecting 5" of snow tonight, and a brisk 7 degrees temp in the morning.

I live in Lousy-anna, where it is currently in the mid-70's, humid as the swamp in the middle of campus, and our expected cold front tomorrow should drop us into the low 40's.

What is WRONG with this picture?!?

Yeah, I keep hearing good/bad/mixed reviews about the transitions lenses.

My cheap clip ons work just fine for now, thank you.
