And once again abusing my sore lumpen body

My sore naked lumpen body that is

Jerez, bad spot to be nekkid

Crowded in here too. Probably the most crowded I've seem this gym since early January. I guess the calorie Nazis want to buy some free tickets to turkey and pie for tomorrow

I kinda miss early morning manditory PT. if only I could have switched the run for a bike ride.

Meanwhile I'm just sitting at home playing video games while peddling away at my little bike pedals thing. =)

It's kinda crappy for a bike ride today, and the ellipticasl all are taken *sigh*

I'd do it at home, but a million things always distract me

I need structure. I'm smart enough to know this about myself

If I was rich I'd hire an ex-drill sgt to be my motivational coach

Alas, I am poor. And prone to distraction. And tired. Thus I shall bid you adieu dear FAWTL. May you all have an excellent Thanksgiving should you be participating in such. If not, have a good Thursday.

see this is why I just wrestle alligators and benchpress trains

Got a few business cards from various temporary work agencies. Undusted an application to nearby company that I took from them few weeks ago. I need to write CV fulfilling local expectations. Oh, who do I kid, without any reasonable work experience it won't impress anyone.

At least I got an e-mail from Polish job office confirming that my e-mail request to be unregistered from unemployed list there was accepted. I had obligatory visit on 3rd of December, which obviously I could not attend and if I did not attend I would lose the right to be registered as unemployed for nine months. I don't get any unemployed benefits anyway (which require having work for at least a year or a year and half and paying taxes accordingly), but as registered unemployed I am getting free basic health care.

Also, I got a payslip for last week - 19.5 hour accounted for 99 pounds total. I expect cheque in a few days, unless I get bank account details earlier and provide them to temporary work agency before they send the cheque.

Man, what's up with that cheapy guy, eh?

Woot! Moff sighting!

Sorry guys I'm not catching up on 524 posts.

I should be done with this job by Saturday then I'm off to College Station.

I hope everyone is doing great!

Pumpkin pie,
Chocolate pie,
Custard pie,
Pecan Pie,
Apple Pie,
Cheesecake pie, (I know, shaddup) ;P

You can keep your nasty Lemon pies and such. :/

How about:

Meat Pie
Mince Pie
Pork Pie
Shepherds Pie
Cottage Pie?

Cheese and ham pie?

"Cottleston, cottleston, cottleston pie." I've never figured that one out either, but it stuck in my head.

An evangelical worker once asked me if I had been born again, and I replied "Yes. I'm a born-again redhead." Not quite what he expected, and I admit I took the chance to escape while he was standing there with his mouth open.

If by doing great you mean still alive (or undead in case of AZ), then yes...

There was ice on my windshield. That's cold enough.

Put in a call to my insurance to take care of the cracked windshield. I've got an appointment scheduled for Saturday morning at a Safelite just down the road in Shenandoah.

oh man that is basically just one of the favorite shows for Lamontia and I

also because my wife refers to Pope as "Oh CM Punk" everytime he is on screen, which just tickles me pink

also as a segue my wife will be playing a grappler in PFS called "CM Pink" while I partner with her as "Danel Bryne", sharing the Brutal Grappler teamwork feat.

We will grapple alllllll the things.

Take care!! :)

After several weeks of trying to tough it out, Crazy finally admitted that it wasn't just a cold after all (*sigh*), and that a visit to the clinic might be indicated - on the day before Thanksgiving! I told him to take his laptop along, or at least a book, since he'd probably have to wait for awhile. He came home with major antibiotics and a scolding from the nurse practitioner, who told him not to wait so long the next time.... *Looks up at the sky* Why me, gods? I told him - well, that's my answer right there, isn't it. At any rate, hopefully he'll be able to sleep through the night again.

May all you FAWTLers have a great Thanksgiving (those who are celebrating it), and an equally marvelous Thursday to all the rest of you. *Headbonks* to all!

It's Thursday. Doom.

I might be able to give a Kingmaker recap today...

*blink*

Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Now off to work ...

And apparently Gygax himself said back in the 1st Edition days that D&D was meant to favor Human Player Characters in the DMG.

Well, thankfully that trend's been done away with in some tables. I still don't agree with "human only" paladins in 2nd edition, for one.

Meh.

I would like to get back to sleep and sleep a few more days :/

Marvellous Thanksgiving to all who celebrate it.

How far will Fawtly fly today?

Icy, really? Wow, since the demi-humans had the best advantages. I suppose it must have been more in setting. Because unless you went to high levels humans were behind the curve.

Scarab Sages

Good mornin FAWTLY FOLK!!! Happy Thursday!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Getting ready to cook up the pies! We'll stick with pumpkin and apple today. I'm also making the sweet potatoes and some stuffing (traditional, in case the experimental chestnut dressing doesn't work out), then we're off to a friend's house for the rest of the meal. OM NOM....

Scarab Sages

And if, for whatever sad reason, you live somewhere Thanksgiving is not celebrated.....you're doing it wrong. ;)

Scarab Sages

The boy is watching Toy Story 3. Whoever wrote this stuff if deeply disturbed. I love it.

Scarab Sages

Creepy ass Ken Doll. Voiced by Michael Keaton?!? Ack! My world is shattered!

Scarab Sages

And the evil teddy bear....I think that was Ned Beatty. Very fitting, somehow.

Made my character a coat of arms. Cause she sorta needed on.

The boy's saying he needs to go to work. Awesome! He can earn the money and support us while we stay home and live a life of leisure!

Very nice. I should do that with a character one day. Maybe I can use the Clan Abercrombie coat of arms.

Scarab Sages

Damn! This 3rd toy story movie is really f~**ed up.
