Living with parents have a benefit of being feed without need to cook... But it is tiresome to share living room with others. I am not sure how others do that and don't get mad...
On the other hand... AZ is married and sharing living space with family, LPM is married and sharing living space with family.
I might be too hasty with estimating people living with others not-mad.

And reading the spider discussion makes me quite happy that Scandinavia is basically the anti-Australia when it comes to poisonous animals.

During a football match in which East Germany was one of the teams, the spectators included Erich Mielke, head of STASI (the secret police). He did not approve of the some of the referee's decisions, and let this be known loudly.
The East German coach (very bravely, if you ask me) told him to "shut up and sit down."
Mielke responded, apparently without trying to be ironic: "It's a free country. I'm entitled to my opinion."
My house gets cave crickets. They like to hang out in the radiators.
We also have a fair few harmless spiders which John does not let me kill. If they are such awesome predators, why don't they kill the cave crickets?

Urgh. If you want me to make a serious attempt at reading your fan-fic, it's probably a good idea to remember to not switch tenses four times in the same sentence.
Inserting line-breaks in dialogues certainly helps with readability too.
And being able to spell "Busshållplats."
If you're going to use your character's hair-colour as a synonym for their name, they'd better have a really unique hair-colour for that setting.

Mini-rant brought to you by the Swedish Association of Middle-Aged Writers Who Write Like They're Ten (SAMAWWWLTT).
Good morning. It's 3:53 a.m. Puffin has just left for work. Kaiser roll and Diet Coke for breakfast. Nom. That is all.
My breakfast will be better. As for work, well, I get to drive a taxi cab on rain-slicked roads. Wish me safety and wish me luck.

I'm pretty sure they come directly from hell. I had to step on a large roach recently and it was full of something similar. I felt awful about it, but it was dying and in agony apparently, so I though I'd end it quicker-and almost ended up slipping in its guts. I usually don't like to kill insects, but I prefer roaches stay elsewhere, cockroaches ban be damned.

IIRC the disassembling of Berlin Wall started by a TV program where one of the leaders of East Germany in response to reporter's query claimed that East Germany is a free country and its citizens are free to travel abroad. People in East Berlin after hearing that flocked to the Wall being faced by military (or militia/police) guarding the wall... Thankfully the commanding officer did not panicked and did not order opening fire (he might even explicitly forbid opening fire on unarmed civilians)* and when the people started passing through the wall it was hard to stop them without contradicting what was said publicly on TV.
* I wonder if that was inspiration for a final scene of V For Vendetta or was it accidental similarity.

Oh I have no beef with spiders in general. As a child I had a lovely book with all sorts of stories about Anansi and his adventures. However, any spider that likes living indoors and is filled with a strong neurotoxin is not going to get a pass.

No poisonous spiders in Poland so I had no reason to dislike them. In fact I like those furry eight legs.

hi everyone,
Kingmaker yesterday, it was quite good after the usual first 45 minutes of "how does this kingdom building does work, again"
in a few hours my wife will come back from weekend with her mum, yay wife
Also, good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Sunday! Bit of a rough night, with the boy having a fever. However, one dose of children's ibuprofen and a good night's sleep and he seems to be much better.
Right now he's watching WALL-E and playing with a card board paper towel tube/spyglass/sword.
What impresses me most about WALL-E. When you think about it, that space ship is over 700 years old and still running like a champ. Now that's engineering!
It is, by far, my favorite Pixar movie.
But not my favorite animated movie. That honor goes to Kung Fu Panda. Or Heavy Metal. I can't decide.

Good morning! Hope everyone is doing well!!!
Not sure if I mentioned this, but during Sarah's previous doctor visit the doc said baby Katie was in the right position to pop. Head down near the cervix. I kept telling my wife her wishing baby out might come back to haunt her. I'm betting she pops early.
Got a lot to do today: hair cut, grocery shopping, clothes washing. I'd love to take the boy for a haircut as well. It's getting too long.
Who'd have thought a movie about robot love could be so damned awesome.
Speaking of awesome - the boy assures me that he and I are awesome. Mommy is not.
I swear I did not teach him that.
Pizza plant?!? If only there was such a thing.
Or, to quote Charlie the Ranch Dog "I'd prefer a bacon garden, myself."
All right folks, battery life on the phone is down. Gonna unplug myself and plug it in. Have a good one FAWTLY Folk!!!
I made a long thoughtful post about Kajehase's and Dreijk 's GDR discussion but the forum ate it :-(

And why is it that I have basically have to buy football-socks if I want to get "men's" socks that don't end halfway up the lower leg?

As speaker for the spiders, we'd love to visit more. And we really aren't trying to kill people. If they'd just leave us alone we wouldn't bite them. It's not that difficult.
Afternoon, all. What did I miss?
