The Swedes, somewhat confusingly, would do a Polska
The Poles get to choose between the Mazurka and the Polonaise.
The English would do a Morris dance around the goalkeeper/whoever is tallest in the team.
Mazurek strictly speaking - the name of that dance is masculine, Mazurka would be feminine from, or a female from Mazury region.
We could also have Krakowiak (dance from my region of Poland in fact) but I think that the best pick would be Polish highlanders' Zbojnicki...

Good morning to all and sundry FAWTLY Folk! Happy Sunday!! Not as happy as it could be, because I've woken up with a sore throat and half clogged sinus. However, I've got my coffee, took a combo sudafed/mucinex, and am watching the wife try to encourage the unborn Katie to kick in just the right spot to make her belly button pop out.

I have had a year's worth of drama and have quite had my fill
Church stuff. Three hours of debate that accomplished effectively nothing.
To be resumed Friday. Not looking forward to it -_-
Sounds like a lot of the forums on here.

Kingmaker Saturday was a success!!!
I don't know if I've mentioned it here, but I got onboard with an online class regarding storytelling, the origin of storytelling and how to tell better stories. I did it in response to some criticisms I got in the Darklight Sisterhood game and to an invitation I received on these very same forums to check out this cool new iversity thing. I have only had three classes, but they've given me a few ideas and invited me to reexamine some things regarding gaming. I tried out a thing or two with the Darklight Sisterhood game and it worked out pretty well- the players had a lot of fun, but that was more due to their decisions not so much anything I planned out. But the Kingmaker game I had a lot more time to prepare for, and so I sat down at work and really outlined a few hooks. It worked out AMAZINGLY well, the PCs had great roleplaying opportunities and although one of those opportunities turned into an anticlimactic battle, everyone had a moment in game(something I was trying for before) thanks to some minor(note: MINOR) rules fudging and trying to challenge not necessarily the players but the characters. I also noted some areas I could improve in DMwise, and I'll be revisiting those next time.
And yes, maybe I will bring some bacon with me to next game.

Yeah, that's one of the bummer things. Sarah normally has trouble sleeping and baby Katie isn't making it any easier. Sometimes they seem to wait until its night to be most active. Not too mention baby Katie is sitting low and pressing on the wife's bladder a lot.

Went over to friends house yesterday, he turned an orange velour beanbag into into a gibbering mouther by strategic sewing of eyeballs and fanged mouths onto the beanbag.
I worry about him
No! NO! This is the sign of a healthy and creative mind. Who knows, someone could see a picture of it, start mass producing similar ones, and sell them to gamers everywhere.

When I'm putting him down at night there is, of course, ritual - first, we read a story. Then he turns off his lamp, gets tucked in bed, and I lay next to him and sing (the past week it's been Pancho and Lefty by Willy Nelson). After that, I get out the bed, face the wall behind his bed, and fuss at the dinosaurs, school buses, and approaching beasts to not come through the wall and to leave him alone so he can get a good night's sleep.
