All right folks. Time to go find some real coffee and maybe hit the head.

Scarab Sages

I'll put on clothes for the coffee though. Wouldn't want to risk a spill....

Got a call from work. I am starting on Monday at 6:00. I must be 15 minutes earlier to get ID.

Thankfully the overseer said that she will put my father on morning shift for the week so I should have a ride there and back.

Crap. Maybe half an hour later I got another call that there is delay and I will start on Wednesday instead. Not envy the other overseer that has to call everyone that was already called and notifying them about that.

Some 100-120 pounds not earned... Third of a laptop or sixth of cash I had borrowed before coming here.

And I still won't be able to go and check how local boardgame evening at pub looks like because it is on Tuesday at 19:30, when I will be preparing to sleep to be able to get up at 4:30 next day...

Well you could always pop over for 30 minutes to say hello & see if they do anything else?

On Monday we had a German chap turn up for drinks, despite him not being able to come to our Thursday night club.

Why the hell did I volunteer to run three more slots this weekend? I still haven't finished building the table for the special...

One would expect that military service taught you right attitude toward volunteering...

Eh, I get to kill PCs, and Hero Lab makes the prep that much easier.

How is it all the way over there and all the way over here at the same time?!

Global resonance.

Headache is omnipresent... It might be psychic entity that exist on the astral plane and reach all the points of physical universe at the same time.

Would be a lot easier if the referee had booked Christiano Ronaldo every time he did something that's supposed to warrant a yellow card...

On a brighter note: Strawberries!

Worries from previous pages! D:

They are still in strength or are you surprised by them when rereading?

Still in strength...

Technically, according to chemistry, whiskey is a solution.

Rarely a good one, though.

Meh. Only two words added to second Egyptian item. Going to sleep soon.

Johnny Depp's greatest role.

So I've been doing ghostwriting of sorts to pay the bills. It's weird to find my articles online published under somebody else's name.

And it was a gorgeous day - temp in the 70s with some nice sun and a bit of breeze.

AND I went to lunch with a buddy from my Navy days. He claimed it as a business lunch and paid for the whole thing.

And so, now begins a rare night miniblitz.

I may have mentioned, but I made some mead based off this supposedly 14th century recipe my younger brother gave me. Tonight I bottled that mead. If my calculations and readings are correct, it's about 6% ABV.

Had to go comfort the boy - nightmare.

Scarab Sages

Speaking of the boy, some of you may recall that last February, right around his birthday, he spent time in the hospital with a touch of pneumonia. We finally got a bill for that. Took them long enough.

The wife has this plan - this weekend we take the boy shopping for a present for his little sister, something he can give her when she's born.

We're also going to buy him a present from his little sister.

Scarab Sages

And the wife ordered matching Big Brother/Little Sister shirts for both of them.

Scarab Sages

I got home this afternoon and the boy was still in his room, having never gone to sleep for a nap. So we figure he's not going down and I go to get him out of the room.

Upon seeing him, my words were something akin to "What the Hell?" When the wife asked if he had a diaper on, I said I couldn't tell. That's because he had pulled his shirt down around his waist and was wearing it kind of like a loin cloth.

Scarab Sages

All right folks. It's late. I've been up since a little after 0500. I'm gonna go to sleep for a few hours.

The pigeon rises and proceeds to work....

Another day, another headache :/

And good morning to all you FAWTLY Folk! Happy Saturday! It's a nice morning so far, despite the decaf coffee. The boy and I did some wrestling, and now we're eating pretzels and watching The Tigger Movie! Good times.

Saturday morning detention for me. Not really,

Hanging out in my wife's classroom as she catches up on her Special Ed paperwork and works with a student to help him catch up.

Tonight - Shattered star session 4 - time to revisit my half-orc rage chemist.

Tomorrow (Sunday) - have to be at work at 4:30 am to supervise a 5 am - 11 am shift. We are behind in that department and a short November due to Thanksgiving makes it worse.

Silver Crusade

Morning, all. What did I miss?

Work has been kicking my ass lately. I have been running from meeting to meeting. Everything is going well, just crazy busy. It will die down once the holidays are in full swing.
