Neither is that the most recent Playdrake issue.
Going to sleep... To dream of beautiful dragonesses...
Why does that name sound familiar?
So this is what happens when my mind goes on auto-pilot...
Can you describe the feeling?

Icyshadow: Personality disorders are patterns of behaviour that can be diagnosed in adults. One's personality is founded before birth, but develops through our teenage years. Antisocial PD is a severe lack of empathy, and requires generally heredity or severe trauma like brain damage to manifest. A bad childhood is not enough, though some thought should be given to WHY that person had a miserable childhood... Perhaps due to parents who also lacked empathy, hmmm? And no, APDs can not and will not grow out of it, be cured, or start relating well to people. This is the central error in Dexter.
The uncurable status is rather unnerving, because that would mean the only option they have is a quick and clean death.
Letting them run around free is clearly not okay either, since everyone knows the kind of stuff they can (and will) eventually pull off.
What disturbs me the most is that they're people I'd be willing to treat as sub-human, because they clearly cannot function like "normal" people.

They are no less human than anyone else. Depending on their intelligence, they can learn to function in society.
In the manner of "I live my life and I don't bother people so they don't bother me". Of course, some who are partially disabled regarding empathy and are intelligent enough can do extremely well for themselves.
Good morning to all my FAWTLY Brethren out there today! Somewhat happy Friday! I only say somewhat because I still have this stoopid cold.
Short work day today, which is always nice. And I've got a few goal planned for today Nd this weekend - get some paperwork in the mail, get the pack-n-play set up in preparation for new baby's arrival, get other baby stuff out of storage, wash much clothing, bottle my younger brother's mead.....
Yep, it's gonna be a busy weekend. No rest for the wicked.

Dexter is wrong? Baloney! I get all my psychological advice from TV dramas. They can't be wrong.
Still want to try and go see Thor 2, but might wait until next weekend. I know my brother and his kid want to see it, but they're doing a Cub Scout camping trip this weekend.
But that's all for me for awhile. Got work stuff that needs getting done today! For once, I think I'm actually on schedule or slightly ahead.

Whether or not I go is 100% dependent on whether I work tomorrow.
Morning all. What did I miss?

My mother had surgery yesterday to correct a hernia, and my brother reports that it was a success.

No writing done today... I suspect that tomorrow will be no better as both of my parents will be present all the day and that does not support creative processes.
Night all.
Glad things turned out for the best CH
Thank you, all!
You know what is awesome? That today is Friday. I don't think I have anything going on this weekend. How lovely.
happy saturday FaWtLies
we bought a new fridge and a freezer because with a child our fridge-freezer-combo will be to small
today a friend and I will install the fridge into the fridge-cabinet in the kitchen, in theorie it will be easy, we will see :-/
the fridge-freezer-combo we will give to Sabines mum for her new kitchen
have I told that we found a rental appartment for Sabine's mum and grandma ?
they will move in january from the ore mountains (450km away)to our village (5 min on foot away)
it is ground floor (4steps) so no more 3rd floor steps for Sabine's grandma with her bad back

My work application has live status and I was told I am starting around 18th. I might be called to work earlier. Or not.
At least I got UK National Insurance Number.
Since I want to help out a few friends, I'll just leave this here.
I wonder if I should make a separate thread for this project, though...
It might be good idea to show it to someone beyond a bunch of deranged lunatics.

Huzzah! Having family close is a huge plus. Something we missed when Charlie was born, but will be thankful to have with the arrival of baby Katie.
And, to echo my Germanic friend......
......Good Morning FAWTLY Folk!! Happy Saturday!!
Added bonus: Charlie spilled water all over the sofa this morning! So one cushion is very wet, but I've still got two to sit on.
At least it wasn't pee....
Otherwise, it's looking to be a lovely Saturday here in the great state of Texas.
But, there's plenty to do, so I must be off. Have good one my brethren!
Second week here will soon end.
