I think I accepted the friend request. Hopefully I think it was you. I didn't see a red dragon on the profile pic lol

I think it was me. If it was unpronuncable Slavic name and surname and Slavically mangled English word as a second name it was me.

Probably.

Half an hour argument on Skype with my mother was so fatiguing...

She stated that I absolutely must print mail from airlines with information confirming reservation of ticket and have it on me tomorrow, er today because "it's e-ticket and everybody had it with them when she flew there and back"

T -21 hours 15 minutes.

While I followed the instructions provided by the airline online checkout process and only printed boarding card.

We just had our boarding cards with us, and had no problems. The airlines have computers, for pete's sakes.

It might vary between various airlines. Also it have been a few years since my mother flew the last time.

T -18 hours 50 minutes.

Good night everyone.

Found this in the yard this afternoon, now just think of the colors

After an awful week with only a few breaks of sunshine, the clouds have lifted as the weekend has begun. Coworker just came back from dominican republic today and brought me some rum and some chocolate for the wife. I am now well and truly toasted.

Went to the DR a few years ago had something called mamajuana?, some evil concoction involving rum, red wine and a bunch of herbs.

My friend is running his game that will be running at the con in feb for us manana. It's fun to be crash test dummies

Have a good weekend everyone.

And today mom called me to say that she spoke with acquaintance of her that flies very often and learned that I was right and only boarding card and id are needed.

Not surprised.

T -10 hours.

T -6 hours 50 minutes.

Packing bags.

Bag packed. Seems much lighter than the 15 kg limit...

Laptop left to be packed to second bag.

Going to throw away trashbags in mean time, and to post office pay last bills.

Why is the sun so bright?

Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Saturday! And thank the gods it's the f!*&in weekend. I was ready to strangle a few people.

Scarab Sages

Today the wife and I are going to get a new bed for ourselves. Then we'll take the old bed and put it in the guest room.

But first, I must crush the boy with a physical manifestation of apathy and despair!

Scarab Sages

Not really, but the phrase sounded too cool in my head to not type.

Scarab Sages

I think I'll just tackle him.

And now a brief interlude.

When I got home late last night, I found that the boy had prepared for me a plate of cheese and crackers. Mom would not let him pour the wine, but everything else was ready to go. Along with a sign that read "Thanks for being an awesome dad".

Everyone once in a while he does something REALLY thoughtful and sweet.

Makes me wonder what he wants,... ;)
