What this monkey trial need is a kangaroo court!

Animals practicing law? That's setting a legal precedence.

I used the proceedings from the last win to buy two lottery tickets for two different lotteries and two scratchcards. No wins on scratchcards but one lottery ticket with numbers drawn at 14:00 scored 5/10 giving me another 4 zloty. Which almost covers its initial price (5 zloty) and will be used to buy another ticket - I am on fence if I should buy the ticket for 2.5 zloty and have 1.5 leftover or should I add extra 1 zloty to have the ticket with bonus option that might greatly increase output in case of win an having one of the numbers being the last number drawn...

That's a lot of oversized carnivorous platypii you're talking about....

Oh, and I am considering Mini Lotto with lower rewards but costing only 1.25 zloty.

I wonder - would that be one adult zloty and one with young template applied three times?

Off to library to give back Green Mars which I was obliged to return last Monday. Lottery stall is on the way.

Can't stand looking at a lottery ever since Speedway and Indianna. eight months now and I'm not a foaming, raving, madman.

Anyways, time for applications.

...and breakfast too. Have a good one.

Hello

An experience in another thread inspired me...

What would our fellow fawtls be in terms of character levels with respect to our jobs?

I think we did this once before, but it was a loooooong time ago and we've got 100k posts to get to and this will help us fill some space.

Current job, maybe level 3

the field in which this position is part of, Level 12

Which is sad, so very very sad.

Assuming we go to level 20?

Level 12, slightly above middle management.

Probably level 6 or so. Above beginner, but still moderately low-ranked.

Level? Meh. I am build on 25 points using GURPS 4th edition.

Pretty sure they'll try.

I'd not put any money on Sweden going through, though.

Commoner (with the delivery-person archetype) 3, with one mythic tier because I once finished a route that's supposed to take 5 hours in 3/5 of that time.

Hmm, let's see.

Retail: 10-12 (I can sell books and booze.)
Editing: At least mid-levels
Cooking (with the Farm Wife archetype): 6-8
Horseback riding and general animal handling: 2-5, depending on the animal.
Sewing/tailoring, needlework, knitting/crochet, etc.: Mid-levels.

None of which pays terribly well.

Hey, I just heard a bobcat outside. Cool!

How do you know the cat's name is Bob? Did he say "Hello, I'm Bob. Bob the cat"?

Why, yes. Yes, he did. Loudly. He also asked if any pretty girls were out there listening.

Strange, but when I opened my google chrome today my OTD tab was a page whose newest posts were October 4th. Refreshing fixed it, but that was odd.

Shadow Lodge

Paizo's been doing that randomly since they introduced the update that had the forums loading with the spinny circle graphic. Quite often it'll load a few pages into the archives rather than the most recent topics. A refresh usually resets it; otherwise you can manually sort through the pages of threads back to page 1.

Scarab Sages

Good morning to all my FAWTLY Brothers and Sisters out in this wide world. I hope you're all going to have an excellent day.

Scarab Sages

My younger brother came over last night and we brewed some mead based off a (supposedly) 14th century recipe. He wanted to make it for one of his SCA events. I look forward to seeing if it turns out decent.

Scarab Sages

Otherwise, work is busy. Also, I just realized yesterday morning that the deadline for submitting all the required paperwork to take the test for my PE license is just about a month and a half away.

Scarab Sages

Something I now wish I'd done before I became a father.

Scarab Sages

Anyway, I'm out for today. Later folks.

Afternoon, all. What did I miss?

I look good in this particular suit, if I do say so myself. I should buy more like it.

just once I'd like to game in a suit. And another time dressed as your character. That would be awesome.

Given my character in Council of Thieves, the only game I'm playerside in, as well as the character I last played and the character I have planned for Runelords are all female, that would be ... interesting.

I don't have anything like what they wear though, on top of that. Gwyn typically goes with shirt and vest, skirt over leggings, and long coat, which minus the skirt is probably the only one I could get close to mimicking. Tatya wore simple homespun foresty clothes, which I have absolutely nothing like. Siobhan is going to either be in the heaviest armor she can afford/find, or churchy-style robes or dresses. (Altered for the fact that she's a hybrid spider creature of course.)

More and more job applications.

Bought a cheap bag for laptop. Visited graveyard. Returned hungry. Ate bread of much better kind than I usually eat (over twice the price of cheapest bread). Also bought much better tea than usual.
