I liked it better when the dog couldn't jump on the bed unassisted. Do not always want fur in my face in the morning.

The cat was never a problem, much easier to shoo away.

In other news, the programming examples in this Python class are horrible. I don't understand the value of learning poor coding practices during lessons. Surely there are ways to learn the language and good practice simultaneously.

Oh man. Now I want some fried chicken (the good kind, not fast food kind), with mashed potatoes and buttermilk biscuits. Damn.

I got a bottle of homemade Apfelwein, it is delicious!

Gah! This was supposed to be a raspberry scone. Instead it is cranberry-orange. I am disproportionately disappointed. [/first world problems]

C'mon, this is the internet. Disproportionate reactions are supposed to be outrage! You should be furious and equate the wrong scone with the worst things of life - bubonic plague, the stock market crash, and murder.

It shouldn't be a problem since the dog is nekkid.

Shadow Lodge

The dog is ALWAYS nekkid.

Kingmaker Session:

Spoiler:
I changed the start of "Rivers run Red" with a ceromony on a hill in south rostland where 4 Branoies where offically founded and recogniced by Rostland, Mivon and Pitax (to give them a bit of infos about their neighbours)
Fort Drelev made a big show about their wealth and where instandly hated as snops, Varnhold I played as sympathic, seasoned adventurers and they celebrated their new titles together and agreed to keep in good touch
then I added a mercanary company for the 4th part the "Blood Griffon Company" who showed up with an army and 5 leaders arriving on griffons (they will find the burnt remains of their stronghold as start of book 6)

Their realm will be known as "The Municipal-Barony of Sevenwaters"
(I skipped the Leadership roles because I wantd them to find their own way of ruling, they decided to form a Council)

the first month of kingdom building was very tiersome and complicated, then things became much more smooth and it started to become fun

their first city is around the stag lords fort

after a few month of building they started exploring again and did find the lonely barrow, I foreshadowed a bit by giving his sword a depiction of the Jabberwok as handle and pommle and adding a mural in his gravechamber with a fight against a horde of evil fey, lead by the horned hunter

next session will be in october

I often end up asking myself the same question. why do I put up with these furballs?!?

Boy dog has had, to put it delicately, digestive issues lately. Instead of staying with me by the computer, he keeps running into the empty living room. Then the odd thumping noises start. By the time I get there to see what's going on, he's sitting up and watching me, wagging. I can't find anything wrong. What is he doing!? I fear the answer.

The later you discover what he did the worse it will be...

Also, no toy store today. When we got over there, the place didn't open for another half hour. So we tried to kill time, but the boy started throwing fits. Since he couldn't behave himself - no new toys.

It's weird the way my mind works sometimes. Was getting a shower this morning and noticed the way the water drained out of the stall. Immediately, an idea popped into my head for a dungeon feature, which snowballed into an idea for a new adventure called The Tomb of the Dwarves.

Anyone here know the name of the artist that drew the Death Initiate for the NPC Codex?

Trollhättan is 97 years. (Or some 700 if you count from the first mention of a place situated here with that name.)

Mammoth hunters, both neanderthals some 80.000-70.000 years BCE and later homo sapiens some 25.000-20.000 years BCE lived here :P

Neanderthals might inhabited the area even earlier.

No T-Rex here, but the oldest known dinosauromorph footprints were found within two hundred kilometers of here.

Time to bed. Night everyone.

I think 1am is late heck I think 12am is late. Then again I have a taste of music of someone older than me.

Thanks Treppa, you're kind and generous to birds, after a fashion.

in the lighter side of the news, Cinnamon, the new puppies likes my bedroom and my blankets.

oh, mustn't forget. Puppies!

I'm not a "dog person," but I do like my dog...even though she's kinda dumb and barky. Then again, I've owned a couple of cats in my life that weren't all that bright either, and the siamese could be just as loud when he wanted to be.

Yea, them Siamese. I like cats. but it's their dander. Contains mites and other microscopic nasties that send my immune system into over-drive.

My older brother could only handle Siamese cats. He contracted a horrendous case of ring worms otherwise.

My level 1 Urban Ranger just ascended to Ranger 2/Champion 1 tonight. And my son's Mythic campaign has begun. The more I read about Mythic the more I am growing to like it. I especially like the concept of ascension.

Taking Cinnamon outside to learn the ropes of proper potty training.

Nothing more warms my heart.

I downloaded the pdf not too long ago, but have only glanced through it a bit. Seems pretty cool, though.

Every writer needs something like that.

Mine's a little 3x5' memo pad that I keep next to my bed at night just in case I wake up with an idea. I have a pile of four more on the bookshelf for when it gets filled up.

The film? Or the pub near me :P (or something else?) Anyway hope you had fun.

Good day to everyone.

Even though I've enjoyed my time as DM for the current Kingmaker, I miss being on the player's seat right now.

I wonder if there are any outsiders aside from succubi that aren't afraid of some casual fun that I could summon...

oh I know I have one too. I'm a bit weird in that I do a lot in my head so I resisted the idea of an idea book for years- writing things down made bad ideas permanent. But I don't have as much free time as I once did, so I'm forced to keep one.

That's what erasers/scratching out is for =)

I'd personally rather keep bad ideas around though - there's always the chance they can be reworked into something useful, or serve as a springboard to a more refined or otherwise better idea.

I have several, actually. The current one is a small, faux-leather notebook one of my old Philly gaming buddies gave me. He showed up one day with one for each of us.

Prior to that, I've used various things: small steno notepads, a loose leaf filled binder, and even several notepads small enough to fit I a pocket. Those are some of my favorites.

Also, good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy enough Monday! Had a good end of day yesterday.

After the boy woke from his nap we hung out for a bit before headig over to Tomball and the home of Sarah's great uncle and aunt. This is her maternal grandfather's much younger half-brother and his wife. Very lovely visit and dinner with them at a place called Goodson's. Charlie was fairly well-behaved and friendly. He even gave Aunt Mary a hug and kiss goodbye.

Scarab Sages

Of course, he then did give us some trouble going to bed, but not too much.

Scarab Sages

And then I spent much of the remainder of the night reading and having a beer or two.

Scarab Sages

Anyway, at work now, so lots to do. Take it easy. Positive waves to all.
