I think I caught the flu. I feel a fever starting: chills, body ache, sore throat, and I think there are kobolds trying to dig a tunnel out of my skull. I did not need this.

I had this Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Coworkers have too, and evidently many who helped the first FAWTL family move into Houston did as well. It seems to last three days or so.

It was like the weirdest combination of nastiest cold ever and the flu, only without nausea. In point of fact, while I slept 18 hours on Monday, whenever I wasn't sleeping, all I could think about was food. O.o

sounds like a nasty virus going around. I'm glad you are better. As much as iI love food, I hate the alien hunger I get when I'm sick-I can *feel* my body demanding nourishment to expel whatever.

I'm getting ready to leave for the RiffTrax showing of Starship Troopers. I'm glad they decided to have an encore performance, since the live showing was the Thursday of GenCon, and I was busy. I hate it when I have to prioritize my geek interests.

Well, they have six characters in the party, but no full BABers. The ifrit monk is the closest they got. :P

Still, they all rolled well at character creation, so maybe they have a chance...

I really wish teachers would notify subs in advance with things like "Hi, there's an outdoor assembly today. You might want pants."

We got notified of the room change the other day about 30 minutes before class. Then they forgot to unlock the door for us.

Good thing it isn't British terminology of pants. (especially with a skirt)

ah.Given your hheight, I did not think you the skirt type. For some reason, the only people I encounter wearing skirts regularly are either quite religous(orthodox), taller than average, or both.

I have opposite experience - I notice more taller women than shorter ones wearing pants.

Sovereign Court

I only wear maxi dresses and skirts.

My legs are too short.

I was robbed.

I was supposed to be 6 feet tall.

Oh. You were. Well I was supposed to be at least 5 feet tall. What's that like?

Sovereign Court

Were you robbed too? We should do something about it! Form a league or something.

I usually don't care when someone makes a remix of a song.

But damn, this captures the feel of the original amazingly well.

I was supposed to be about 3 inches taller. I do think there is some weirdo necromancer out there keeping slices (or in your case, huge hunks) of leg to create the world's tallest undead to reach tall shelves for him or something.

So, I've now been here for around 2-1/2 months. The wife came to me the other day and let me know we're having dinner with her great uncle and aunt this Sunday. Apparently, they live here.

This is her maternal grandfather's half-brother and his wife. I've met them several time, and remember them being from Texas, but didn't realize they were in Houston.

Scarab Sages

The dude, Uncle Pas, has apparently taken a job as a delivery driver for Dominos, just for s*@&s and giggles. Dude's like probably in his lates 60s or maybe even his 70s easy.

Scarab Sages

All right, that's it for this morning. Got stuff to do on this short work day.

First thing.....make sure the coffee is safe!!!

Bye for now.
